After reviewing the first 3 pictures, your application was rejected because the images were too small. It was impossible to tell if we were looking at a teapot, teacup or standard Yorkie.

However, the last picture was full size and showed Max in all his Teapot magnificence. So he's in! Welcome, Max, to the Teapot Club! And we hope to see many more full size pictures of you in the weeks, months and years to come!

The name's Moonlight Il Mio Nicco Dolce - Nicco for short - and I hail from the great state of Texas - Austin to be exact. Mama says I meet the necessary requirements to join this here club and I have to say y'all seem like a mighty fun bunch. I'm 4 years old, but I guess I'm not done growin' yet. I recently tipped the scales at a solid 10 pounds so mama put me on some kinda weight loss food. I've since gained 1.5 pounds so it seems I do indeed meet the club requirements. I'm attaching photos, but please do NOT be dissuaded. I'm only about 9 inches tall and most say I don't look my weight (I hide all that "extra" weight well, dontcha think?).

Therefore, I respectfully request admission to the might Yorkie Talk Teapot Club and would be honored and proud to represent should y'all consider me worthy.

I eagerly anticipate your membership decision.

And to think, once I told Max about it, he simply rolled over on his back and waited for his 19th torso rub of the day.

Personally, you had me at "Moonlight Il Mio Nicco Dolce."

However, our selection committee is bound by silly rules and proceeded to scrutinize every picture and every word of your excellent application. We were smitten by your Southern charm and compact good looks. As proud Teapot Club members, we were concerned that people think you are trying to "hide" your Teapotness. However, since you were proud enough to apply to this exclusive club, we let that go.

Unfortunately, in filling out the formal acceptance paperwork, a secretary flagged a missing fact -- sex of dog. It was omitted from your application. Our research team, ill versed in Italian, checked your profile page album and found no hint of sex. They checked your past threads created and again, nothing!

Sensing a potential scandal, we contacted our team of language experts and were told that "mio" is used to describe a male, mia a female. That was our guess all along.

So to make a long story a little longer, you're in! Welcome, handsome Nicco, to the Teapot Club. (If it turns out you're a girl, please notify the language committee immediately.)

Well, shoot fire! How could I have been such a goober? Yes, indeedy, I am of the male persuasion, as y'all figured out. Mio is in fact the male version of "my" in Italian. That's a might right clever of you! I look forward to representing such a prestigious group with honor and integrity.

I went to the "groups" section cause I thought it would be great to join, while trying to find one that fit us and that had members that had posted more recently than last fall....... there were a couple Teapot groups, are any of them connected with this particular club?

After all my searching I did join 2 groups but again no one had posted in them for some time. seemed better to me to just hang out in the threads. Am I correct??? Charlie and I want to be active in YT. We have learned so much and maybe even helped a couple YT members.

Yeah, I joined a couple groups and none of them is active. I think people forget about them. This is just kinda of a fun thread that comes to life every now and then when somebody stumbles on it. Maybe we do need a group that can be more active.

I loves it! Elvis isn't especially skinny though he's not fat either just a solid lil bullet shaped guy...

I'll never forgive myself for passing up the opportunity to take a picture of (at a local street fair concert) a "micro-mini teacup" Yorkie puppy (ye pondering that one might hurt ur brain like it did mine) playing with Elvis...they were both front legs extended bums in the air just shaking, nubbins waggin, bouncing around...only the lil guy was the size of Elvis' head...no literally he was the size of Elvis' head...Elvis has never felt like such a giant before and he loved it!

Anywho the lady of course very typically asked me what kind of dog he was......I said oh he's a Parti that's the only difference is his color...she looked puzzled I repeated but clarified...he's a Parti Yorkie...she laughed and said oh okay...I to this day don't think she really believed me...

Having said all that...we love being in the Teapot Club where everyone knows bigger is better LOL

It's me, Zoe. I fink I am a "teapot". I have to be...I have a friend named Jessie and she's 'fraid of me (she's a cowdog/border collie mix and she's BIIIIG), and my brudder and sister are chubby cavaliers and I tackle dem all da time...and win. AND, I have no fears, at all. I leap like a weally big dog.
