Donating YT 500 Club Member | I'm so very sorry to hear of Scruffy's disappearance and hugs to your daughter, this has to be hard on her. I wouldn't give up hope though, he may still come back home. Leave something (old shirt) with your scent outside the front door (this is an old fox hunters trick for dogs that got away while hunting). I wouldn't put it past someone to have got in your backyard though. People have been much bolder than that when stealing dogs. Hope you hear something soon and Scruffy gets back home. Have you offered a reward?

| I would try to find the owl & its nest, if it got your yorkie there may be some remains/evidence there or on the ground below. I am so sorry if that happened. If you cant find any remains there maybe it wasnt the owl. Ask your wildlife person if they can help you find any evidence of the owl taking the dog. Not knowing is almost worse then anything. I hope you get some answers. pssst-You didnt hear it from me but if a big bird is lurking around take care of it before its to late. |

| Thanks. I have posted a reward and I have been trying to find the owl's nest. We haven't given up hope yet. We still have signs up and are still contacting animal control every couple of days. |
