| ![]() I can imagine that feeling. Glad you got such a quick response from your local police and the "kids" are fine. I heard about a lady who dropped her electronic key in a puddle and it would not unlock her door. She called her hubby on the phone to see if he would bring his key down. After a few minutes on the phone, she hung up very sheepishly and turned the key around and used the manual end. ![]()

| ![]() Oh, I can so relate. (I did the same thing and locked my 2 yr old daughter, tethered in her carseat in the middle of the back seat...too far away from the locks to unlock them) The only problem is that here the police don't do that any more and I had to call the fire department. TWO TRUCKS CAME WITH SIRENS AND LIGHTS!!! I was so embarassed!! My daughter got a free coloring book and a teddy bear from the firemen, tho.!!lol |

| ![]() Lucky for you. The police in my town don't unlock the doors anymore. You have to call a locksmith. The only one in town is only open from 9-3 M-F. One of my relatives did the same thing with her baby, but we had to bend a wire coathanger to get them out! What an ordeal. . Glad things worked out for you! ![]() |

| ![]() I locked my two daughters (ages 3 and 3 months) in my minivan at the car wash. I went through the car wash then stopped the van to get out an towel dry it. Apparently, I leaned on the door lock when I was getting out. It was hot as blazes out but thankfully the air conditioning was on. I was trying to get my 3 year old to unbuckle her seat belt so she could unlock the door. She proceeded to tell me "No, mommy...you told me not to ever do that!!" The one time she listens me lol....I called the police and two police cars showed up with sirens on and everything (apparently it was a slow day for them lol) They got the door opened right away. My smarty pants three year old tells me "Mommy, you shouldn't have locked us in the car" UGH!!! How embarrasing!! She talked about that for the longest time and of course told everyone. She is now 10 and still brings it up on occasion!! She never stops talking ![]() Penny |

| ![]() How lucky for you that the cops still do that in your town. They don't do it here anymore. Makes you want a car with the buttons outside, doesn't it? Glad it worked out. ![]()
