Oh, I can so relate. (I did the same thing and locked my 2 yr old daughter, tethered in her carseat in the middle of the back seat...too far away from the locks to unlock them) The only problem is that here the police don't do that any more and I had to call the fire department.
TWO TRUCKS CAME WITH SIRENS AND LIGHTS!!! I was so embarassed!! My daughter got a free coloring book and a teddy bear from the firemen, tho.!!lol
