| When Tucker was little I tried a collar on him and he didn't like it at all. He wouldn't even walk with it on so then we switched to a harness but only when we walk. He is really good about going outside and staying in the yard. |

| I tried putting a collar on Tika in the beginning, but she scratched at it and acted like it was the worse thing in the world to have it on her neck. So she uses a harness when we go out - the dress kind (I sew them for her since she's really tiny).

| A buddy belt is a leather harness. They are really nice. I have three of them. One I got on e-bay really cheap, brand new. It's a different style and is quick and easy to put on. I like them a lot. So, it seems there is no right answer to the collar question..... I'm also scared to put a collar on them. Kaya is 5 lbs. and Tinka is around 7-8 lbs. I'm also scared of them taking off. My h is not very careful when he opens the door like I am and I'm so scared they may run out. Tinka does have a chip and I'm planning on getting Kaya one, but unless they're taken to a shelter or vet, that won't help much. I can't imagine losing one of them. The breakaway collars sound like a better idea. I'll have to think about it I guess and decide what to do. omega |

| Bella wears her collar all the time she does fine with it, we have not had a ny problems. She had to get used to it for a day or so, but now hse doesn't even know its there. I feel better with it on, in case she does get out the yard and runs. |

| Phoebe wears a collar all the time except in her kennel. We walk her on a harness.

| When Rocky's on a leash I use his harness (except for the couple of days I couldn't find it). He does have a collar that he wears at all times with his tags on it. I'd rather not keep the collar on him, but I do just incase he slips out of the house, I'd rather have him with identification on him than none.

| Collar??? I only wear collars on my "kids" when we ride in the car. Heaven forbid if I had an accident and they managed to slip out.......but they are both micochiped as well. They have three tags on the collar. License, microchip tag and then one with loads of information about their mommy and daddy so they can be returned to us safely.

| Adonis wears a collar all the time. Now if I take him on a leash walk, I put his harness on. His collar has his Id tags, and my phone number on it. Venus isn't wearing a collar yet. I will be buying her harness for walking next month. But soon, I will put the collar on her, and leave it on. |
