| I'm so glad there was no organ damage. Mighty little thing, isn't she? I hope she continues to do well.

| Thank you so much for the update. She was the last thing I was thinking of as I drifted off to sleep last night. I am so glad to hear she is improving. I know she will be happy to get back home to you! Praying for a complete and speedy recovery! |

| Hi everyone Princess Pia is doing wonderful. She's home and very happy. The catheter was taken out of her neck today. (she didn't like that, cried very bad )She's still very tired yet but is starting to eat much more. My other two dogs seem to be bothered by her smell. Its strange but they seem afraid of her. I think the smell just scares them because they dont understand what happened. Anyways, Pia is doing great so far and I wanted thank everyone again for all the prayers and helping me through this. Pia sends all of you yorkie kisses |

| awwww, poor little Princess Pia! So glad to hear she's much better. Not for nothin but did you call that #@%! vet and give him a piece of your mind? If not, give me the number and I'll call. How could he spay a 1 pound baby and send her home the same day!?! When Bentley was neutered they kept him overnight 'cause he weighed 4 pounds and my vet thought that was tiny.

I would def keep them going to the emergency one if they can make appointments it sounds like they have it together again im so happy for you!

| Oh my goodness! How scary this all must have been for you! Do you have to give her nutrical for a while now until she is completely healed? I know that trauma and illness in humans can cause bloodsugar crashes or spikes followed by crashes and to be on the safe side, maybe that would be a good thing to do for her too?? I wonder, do they have glucagon for dogs? In case of major crash and shock? So you could inject to bring them right out of it and buy time to get to the vet for life support? I would think they should, if they don't...but then, I think every household should have epi pens and defibrilators too...I guess I am overly cautious! |

| My little furbaby was only 8 oz. and 10 wks old when we brought her home and found out 4 hrs later that she had an upper respitory infection, hypoclycemia, and hypothermia. The breeder told us to bring her back, but she was too sick and would have died, so we took her to the EM. Hosp.. She went thru the same thing with the catheter and wasn't expected to make it thru the night but she was a 'fighter' and did and is almost 7 yrs old now. I know the feelings you went thru and its terribly scarey. Those catheters come in handy with tiny veins. My furbaby had to be in the emergency hosp. a week before she came home, was fed Gerber Turkey Baby Food at the hosp. She's been so healthy, thank God. Her older sister by 2 yrs. plays mother to her all the time and really watches out for her all these years. I'm praying your Pia will have a long life also. |
