My little furbaby was only 8 oz. and 10 wks old when we brought her home and found out 4 hrs later that she had an upper respitory infection, hypoclycemia, and hypothermia. The breeder told us to bring her back, but she was too sick and would have died, so we took her to the EM. Hosp.. She went thru the same thing with the catheter and wasn't expected to make it thru the night but she was a 'fighter' and did and is almost 7 yrs old now. I know the feelings you went thru and its terribly scarey. Those catheters come in handy with tiny veins. My furbaby had to be in the emergency hosp. a week before she came home, was fed Gerber Turkey Baby Food at the hosp. She's been so healthy, thank God. Her older sister by 2 yrs. plays mother to her all the time and really watches out for her all these years.

I'm praying your Pia will have a long life also.
