I didn't see Beemer, but most of the puppies on his site don't look right to me. They don't seem healthy looking. Go to any reputable breeder's site and the puppies look much better. I think the one he calls "Hot Pocket" looks like she may be sickly.

I would try to get something in writing from the vet about your pups condition. He states he offers a 1 year health guarantee, so maybe you could try to take him to small claims court? There is no way something like that would "just start" as soon as you brought the little puppy home.

There are quite a few people on here that have been ripped off by that sorry excuse for a human. Don't think anyone gets anywhere with refunds..but you might try hooking up with some of the others that have been trying for justice. Use search and type in Jeff Dane...he's notorious. Sorry for your experience.

I can't even imagine the pain you're going through. To have the hopes of a healthy baby, save up the money, see it's cute little face and fall in love...then to have that happen. My heart goes out to you.

That breeder needs to be put out of business. I wonder if you can file a complaint with the BBB too? Contact animal control in that state also so they know what's going on.

im sooo sorry that you went through this. one sad thing is that when a puppy is driven in trucks ( i dont know if yours was flown or not ) they are often taken away from their mommies way way too young like 4 weeks so that they arrive at the new homes at or before 6 weeks. how old was your puppy when you got him? The trucks dont often if at all stop to feed or water the puppies. Only the strong survive and even with that a lot of them have health, social and many other problems. Its very very sad, but its true

I'm so sorry this happened to you and that you didn't reach yorkietalk sooner. My advice is to find a vet that will do a necropsy that way they can determine the cause of death and whether he was sick before he got to you. That way he can't say it's your fault. Also since animals are considered property if you used a credit card to purchase your pup find out how to make a complaint through them that way you can be reimbursed.

Im so sorry for your loss, losing these little guys just rips your heart out, Im glad I dont know about these f...ing breeders, they sound horrible.

I am sooo sorry this happened to you and that you and the puppy had to go through this.

Jeff Dane is a very bad person to buy any puppy from, and I doubt you will get a refund from him, he does not care about his puppies.

He really does need to be stopped!!! I can't even imagine the trauma you have been through;to look forward to all the joys of having a yorkie, only to have the puppy live a short life after you got him. I hope you can cause some serious trouble for him!!

I was looking in YT's breeder section & there are a few in the NJ area. I used to live in Kingston & know it's a bit of a drive but like some of the others have said its a good idea to pick them up yourself.

Our local news station has a "Consumer Alert" segment every night. You might want to think about contacting the local news stations in his area and ask if they would be interested. He is ripping you off, not to mention the inhumane treatment of puppies. I would also contact the different agencies in his area and file complaints.
