| IT is Sad how out of hand the size obsession has gotten. I just think people don't know any better. I was walking Chance and Remmy and a lady stopped me and asked "are those two those teacup yorkies?" I said "no they are not." They are just yorkies. She said that she was pet sitting a teacup yorkie and that it did not know how to walk on a leash and she was glad to see mine walking. I told her that they are trainable. I guess people think you can't even train yorkies to take a walk.

| At first when i was getting my girl Rylie to be honest i wanted a puppy that would be no bigger then 5lbs. She is now 7 months and is a very healthy 6.3lbs. she's is perfect the way she is, she's still small and i know she won't grow very much and even if she did i wouldn't care the minute i first saw her i fell in love with her my girls mom was not a small yorkie but at that point it was too late my girl Rylie had my heart. Now that i have my girl i notice other Yorkies a lot more and what people (including myself) don't and didn't realize is that like their fur colour and like every person on this world god creates everyone and everything differently, from little to big "teacup" to "teapot" and not matter your size he loves you regardless. So i'm sure your babies will find someone to love them unconditinally. If i lived closer i would take all of them. My girl Rylie has stolen my heart everytime i look into her little face i fall in love with her all over again. So i'm sure that the right person will come along and just look into your babies eyes and won't be able to walk away. Not to worry they'll find a forever home that will love them as much as you do.

| When we were looking for our puppy it took us forever because we wanted one who was going to be on the BIGGER side of the breed standard. We're young and wanted a dog before real babies. But we know that real babies and our yorkie baby will probably co-exist at some point and we wanted a yorkie that was going to be big enough that he wouldn't get pummeled by a toddler. Maybe it would help your sale of your puppies if you did advertise their size! There IS a market for average size yorkies! Good luck Oh.. I should mention that we drove over 7 HOURS each way to get our puppy once we found someone who would be honest about his size!

I just always wonder what these peoploe do if their children turn out to be the wrong size. Well actually I know personally of two cases, where the families had two daughters, one daughter was bigger boned, not fat, the other tiny and in both cases, the tiny daughter was favored over the larger one. Dr Phil also had a show on aout that, where the smaller daughter knew she was spoiled just because she was tiny. | |

| Thanks to all of U who posted to my question...I've really learned a lot more with the help of U all. I just think it's sad that there are people out there like this. And U all made some very good points, like not selling to people who want a Yorkie for it's size only. I'm asking the same money for each of them. I also have it in the contract that if they was to get into a position where they can't keep the puppy/dog for ANY reason they are to return them back to me...This way I know one of my babies will not end up in a pound somewhere. Also I'm not lying for nothing or no one...I just think that it's sad when us that do tell the truth are downed in a manner of speaking for tellin' the truth!! Also I TELL everyone who calls and says I want a TEACUP that there is NO SUCH thing as a TEACUP!!! & U know I'm thinkin about calling the ads I see in the news paper stating TEACUP Yorkies For Sale and telling those breeders too. Thanks again to all of U. The right forever home will come one day for them and I'll know it when I hear/see them. Should I even answer any questions over the phone or tell them to come see them and ask questions and give answers then? What do U think I don't know what to do anymore, seems like when I answer the weight question it's over!! I'm gonna give baths again today to the puppys and try to get new photos today & post them on the site since they are 3 months old today!! | I don't think most people know what the word 'teacup' implies. My Yorkie is 5.6 lbs, and when people stop me in the street to ask about her (which happens daily), they always say, "Ooh, I want a little teacup like that!" I'd think that most people responding to a newspaper ad are not particularly knowledgeable about Yorkies. Asking about teacups seems proof of that. |

| Puppies for Sale Please let me know how the sale of the puppies is going. I have 6 and only 2 are sold. I had the same type of calls. I am advertsing again this week. The longer the pups stay the harder it will be to give them up. |
