I don't think most people know what the word 'teacup' implies.

My Yorkie is 5.6 lbs, and when people stop me in the street to ask about her (which happens daily), they always say, "Ooh, I want a little teacup like that!"

I'd think that most people responding to a newspaper ad are not particularly knowledgeable about Yorkies. Asking about teacups seems proof of that.
