| My friend bought her a house a few years ago, and she had a white dog that looked like a huskey, anyway it was a two story house and she left the dog in the upstairs while she was at work, nothing downstairs just a garage basement, anyway, there is no way anyone could come to the back cause she didn't have any steps or anything up, Hamlet would go into the kitchen(back of the house) and growl but wouldn't go thur the door, one day she came home and he had jump thur the kitchen window and was still there stuck, he broke the glass trying to get something...this went on for months, the poor thing about killed himself...she is greek orthodox and had her priest come and bless the house and it never happen again...Lets put it this way it was always weird going to her house, it just felt weird..if you know what I mean...lol we would be doing something in the living room watching tv or talking & I swear to you the front door would open all by itself...you talk about scaring the crap out of you...she had a storm door that she always kept locked so there was no way someone opened that door...because we would always check it when that happen...needless to say thats when I would always have to go home.....lol

Donating YT 14K Club Member | Don't know if this could be considered a ghost story but it's strange none-the-less! My husband and I bought a house in January 2004 and closed in February 2004...long story short, the man that was selling it lost his wife to cancer a month earler. One month later, he put the house up for sale and had moved to Houston. Anyway, our neighbor told me that the lady (his wife) died in our house *cringes*. We were cat-sitting for my mom (shortly after we moved in) and when my mom came to pick up her crazy cat, she said that I needed to get rid of our lawn chair...it came with the house. I asked her why and she was very persistant and told me that the lady had spent a lot of time in that chair and I needed to get rid of it. My mom is pretty sensitive to stuff and she said that she had a bad feeling. Got rid of the lawn chair. I slept in the guest bedroom one night with my daughter because my husband snores so bad!! I wake up and my necklace is laying on my pillow. I should also add that the necklace was still latched so I have NO idea how it came off...it was one of those choker types. Never happened again but it sure did give me chills!

Donating YT 14K Club Member | I'm cross posting this from another website...easier than typing the whole story out again. It is MY story...and is also when I had Chester... Yesterday, I got home and needed to pay the never ending stack of bills. I again had that feeling (like someone is watching me) but dismissed it. I sat at the dining room table and started writing out checks. My yorkie, Chester, was sitting on the bench next to me. As I start writing out a check, I hear this metal-bending-screech-pop sound and the light fixture that is over the table is about to fall with just a string holding it up. The light is swinging back and forth TOWARD ME...I felt all of the color drain from my head and my heart was in my throat. I yelled for my husband to get his butt in there. As soon as he saw the light, he asked, "What the he** happened?" I told him I didn't know. Mind you, if it would have completely fell, I would have had to go to the hospital from all of the cuts from the glass. Also, as soon as this happened, my dog lept from the bench, ran to the living room barking and growling and stopped in the middle of the living room staring up at the ceiling!

| yeah you can say it was a ghost story! lol, I had almost the samething happen, without saying I am crazy, I was in real estate 10 years, I showed this old house one day, got a call someone else wanted to see it so I stayed there waiting, the people had 2 cats, they left them in the basement during showings, anyway I open the basement door and they were standing there hissing with there backs up...All I am saying is I am not crazy but I sense things and I turned around, nothing there but I had a funny feeling like I did at my friends house, turned back around and my necklace was in the floor still fasten, & I didn't hear it hit the floor...

| okay Kim do you still live there? boy we could have some fun, If you can sense things & I sense things them ghost wouldn't stand a chance....lol To be honest with you this stuff scares the **$&^ out of me... My grandfather which was a old fashion southern baptist preacher, would dream about people and go to them and tell them that they needed to get the affairs together because they were going to die, and they did...that scares me too...

| I got a picture too--this is from our first Christmas in this house, four years ago. When the picture was taken, no one was in the house. When you blow up the picture, it looks like a half pig/half man face. Note that our curtains are a light gold/green color, NOT the black that is soon on both sides of the picture. the red dots on the other side, people say looks like car lights...but our house is catty-corner to the street and set about 50 feet. You simply would NOT get lights like that from tail lights in my window. I also had no red lights outside that year. Most of our "activity" n this house occurs at Christmas and during the winter season. Last edited by ginnysanchez; 07-21-2006 at 08:55 PM. |

At my friend's birthday party, sleep over last year, we were all down in her basement around midnight and I looked at the window and it looked like there was some demon thing standing outside. we all SCREAMED so loud. by the time her dad came down it was gone. I don't go in her basement anymore... | |

| All right, you've all done it. I'm scared. LOL Like others have said I'm intrigued by all this but sometimes it down right scares the crap out of me. So who else plans on staying up the rest of the night? I bet there are lots of threads that I can get caught up on... |
