| Ghost stories scare the heck out of me! I think Aria saw some ghosts too...We were on a road trip and pulled off on one of the exits to get some coffee. As we were getting back on the freeway we stopped at a light near a small cemetery, no one was around and no one was in the cemetery. Aria started looking out the window and growling towards the cemetery. I looked and saw nothing but grave sites. She wouldn't stop growling until we passed it and got back onto the freeway. I don't care what anyone says, I am convinced she saw ghosts!!!

| Please don't think I'M crazy... No, it doesn't sound crazy at all to me. Your baby is barking and reacting because it is something that he/she isn't familiar with..... a stranger/ghost. Our house was built in 1990. My mother died at our house in 1994 from cancer. When she was sick but still getting around Mother would wait until the kids got off to school and my husband left for work before getting up and moving around because she wanted to be unintrusive. They all left early and I would hear her up opening her closet door (it was the only sliding closet door in the house and you could hear it roll open and close) I would hear her water running in the bathroom and a creek or two from moving around upstairs. I'd go upstairs and we'd start sharing a great day enjoying each other. After my mother died...I would hear the same morning noises coming from upstairs after the family left to start their day. I mentioned it to my husband but he wasn't there to hear it.... I didn't mention it to the kids. We kept the house but also bought a home in Florida and would spend about half the year in Florida. My husband would fly back to Chicago about every 2 weeks for business. He called me and said one day.... "Your Mother is certainly still here!" That was no surprise to me.... it just confirmed what I already knew. Our Silky Terrier and our Schnauzer never reacted to the noises upstairs after my Mother died because they knew my mother and the noises were natural noises that happened everyday. They knew it was her.....BUT... I'm sure if it was an entity that they had never encountered they would react like your dog did. We just sold the house to downsize...and bought a condo for our part time use in the Chicago area. Don't think of me as crazy.... but I hope my Mother has moved on.... and I wonder what the new family is going to think about the noises in the house if they are still happening. |

| dogs can def see things, the split level flat i live in is a old victorian house and im a bit spooky and can sence things so i knew we had something in are second bedroom which is in the down stairs bit, well tye would stand at the top of the stairs and bark and growl, my partner and i woke up with scratch marks on us more so him than me , we had some man phone to tell me my kids were making phone calls to his house saying help please make them stop in a funny creepy voice but the problem is i dont have any kids, i also felt this thing come in to are room just as tye jumped up and started barking at something, im calling it a thing cos it didnt feel like a person who had died it felt evil, my sister who is also spooky like me came over and said she would get rid of it so she went down the stairs with her partner and all of a sudden the thing scratched his face and it was bleeding, i walked down the stairs with my sister and someone else was stroking my hair but that was a person who had died and was looking after me and protecting me from the thing, then my sister asked it to leave and it told her to xxxxoff so she chucked salt at it and that was the last time we had any trouble and tye has been fine ever since. dont worry im not crackers lol it really happened.

| It doesn't seem crazy... the women in my family (my grandmother, my mother, my sister and I) all seem to have these abilities that the rest of the family doesn't. I have stories of things that have happened to me (and them) that you would never believe! My mother has it the most, she can actually hold an object of yours and tell you your whole life and the places you've been without ever having met you... she's freaked out a lot of my friends My sister and I often feel presences, usually at the same time- she's living in this house right now, the house we grew up in, where there have been strange happenings all through the years. We know who is there, we've both seen the little girl but the man gets angry and makes a ruckus whe we move the upstairs furniture... Anyway, my Dad is selling the house, but she is staying there for a few more weeks until she gets her new apartment, and she's been packing and there is all sorts of noise and stuff going on around there lately. boxes that were packed being unpacked, banging, doors slamming, footsteps, talking, you name it. We just hang out in the living room sometimes and we hear it all going on upstairs. Whoever is there does not like that she's been moving things and clearing out the house! It just may be that your doggie senses a presence, but don't be scared, he's not there to hurt anyone. But if you are scared, tell it! That's what I do. Sometimes these things can scare me and I tell them so and I politely ask them to leave...You have to know, these ghosts think they still live there and you are in THEIR space. What I would do is speak out loud to it, the next time your dog starts barking at it, tell the ghost in a nice respectful yet firm way that he needs to go home, that please, he needs to go to the light. It will work. you might have to do it a few times, hopefully it will go away. I really hope I don't sound crazy to you, I'm just so used to living with this stuff...I hope your "houseguest" gets the picture and leaves..

I'll tell you what DOES work.... get one of those little auio recorders, you know, like the ones you use for school lectures, etc. get one that is voice activated, leave it in the suspected places overnight for a week or so. You'll get noises and voices. I've had much success with this. video doesn't really work unless you have infrared lenses-

| i believe in it all just because you can't see it doesn't make it real! hopefully you have nice ghosts not mean spiteful ones maybe they are getting together in the basement to plat cards at night? try locking the basement door or better yet open it your self before you go to sllep to let them in if you lock it maybe they will get mad. not trying to scare you but maybe all well be well and you can all cohabitate nicely like i said you can't see it but you can feel it! best of luck! |

| I never believed in ghosts until we rented our first house. I had just had my third baby. My hubby was on his computer sitting next to me. I was on the rocking chair with the newborn. My 2 toddlers were fast asleep in their rooms with doors closed. All of a sudden a batman action figure hits my hubby in the head. He was so mad thinking it was one of the toddlers. Except when we go to their rooms the door is closed and they are fast asleep. I told my family about it and they said to drop it. No one believed me. I blew it off until we would wake up in the middle of the night to all the lights being on in the house. We would shut them off and an hour later back on. All the books in the book shelf would be on the floor. We poured flour all over the vinyl part of the house to see tracks. Never saw the tracks, but my husband used to wake me up to hear them walking. It sounded like feet shuffling or running in the hall. We ended up breaking our lease and paying up the nose, but I couldn't stand it any more!! I came to find from a neighbor that 2 children died in the house. The dad killed the family. I think he tried killing himself, but wasn't as thorough. It was so scary to live in that house. I hated every minute of it and I never got any sleep. After the batman incident we all slept in the same room. Boy was I ever glad to get out of there. |
