and you are jealous because your dog is well socialized? "When he see company he is very happy..lick and play with them, and i am getting very jealous." "My dream is to have a dog that only loves me...even not my hubby ) Like , i am his world..." sorry if I misunderstood, but most of the happy people I know don't expect such things from their dog.

Why it's so hard to understand that i just want a loyal dog, that will sit on my lap, and be loyal to me. is it a crime to want it?[/QUOTE] All dogs are loyal . Why is it a crime for him to love your husband ? Maybe a stuffed dog is what you need . It will be loyal and always agree to sit on your lap .

My yorkie has not really nice personality. even dog trainer told me this. he is a dominant, he bark on everything, he biting... I am working very hard to make him better ![]() But it's all my fault. I wanted a "show class" yorkie. And i just took the best one on litter...but his brothers have soo much better personality. It's easy to see even if they are 7 weeks old. Next time..no mistakes anymore. I don't care about show class this time..only about cute personality.

I am being very honest here...... My pup loves me a lot - no doubt about that. But, he also loves everyone else too. He plays with and is affectionate and friendly with every animal or person he ever meets. I have no doubt how much my pup loves me. But - at the same time, he would follow anyone home. I am pretty sure that within a day or two (if he were treated well and loved), he'd become a happy member of any family. And, of course, if he ever saw me again - he would be totally happy to go right back home with me....and, in fact, would probably want to. The point I want to make - is that I do believe that some dogs are such happy, well adjusted, affectionate little things that they are happy every place they go. And, again, if they are played with, loved, and well taken care of - it may take a few days to adjust to the new home, but many dogs can do this quite easily. I think this is the Hallmark of a well adjusted pet. I know a lot of us think that our little dogs only live to be with us (as we are attached to them), but often they are much more versatile and adaptable than we are. I think some of us pet owners suffer "separation anxiety" much more than our pets do. I know I am guilty of this. But at the same time, I am glad that my little guy can stay with anyone for a while and be happy doing so. My dog is especially happy and loves to stay where there are children. He just can't get enough of playing with children. Carol Jean

Carol Jean yes, this is true. But there is also other side. When i was a young girl, i lived in Russia, and i remember a few dogs that was extremely loyal to they owners. My grandmother had a neigbhord that lived alone with her dog, and she was ill. One day she dead...and her dog just stoped eating..stoped drinking..and just layed near the door with a very sad eyes. We all come and feed, and try to do anything to save the dog... But she died as well. ![]() She just couldn't live without her owner. No way i am saying it' a good thing...It's definitely to much. But i just want something in the middle.

I don't see anything wrong with what you are looking for in a dog and I think there have been a few misunderstandings in this thread due to the language barrier, as you pointed out. My first yorkie was my Valentine's Day present. I took her with me everywhere and just loved her to bits but she has always preferred my husband, and yes that does hurt my feelings so I think I understand how you feel. I also wanted a dog who wanted to be held and cuddled and had a special bond with me- yes ME ME ME! . I recently got an adult dog from a breeder. He has the personality I always wanted and I am just so in love with him. He does have a tendency to bark at other people because he thinks he is my personal body guard. I do not like this aspect and we are working on it and will get that under control. Good luck on your search!

I think you misunderstood me?! We love our babies Chanel & Nacho We are not trying to get one to love the other more...........that's crazy! My husband and I are not happy about his strange obsessive growling behavior. We feel terrible that he's always on guard. It has to be a lot of stress on him. We feel terrible that he's not really enjoying being a dog. He does not do the normal activites like most dogs. He'd rather sit in between us, to make sure that we don't touch or love one another. He has to be the center of attention always. We do have two pups and there is a lot of love here![]() We just wanna learn how we can change his behavior so that he can enjoy being a dog
