I paid $700 for Teddy plus shipping, I paid $1,100 for London plus shipping and my bf paid $1,100 for Sophia and i went to pick her up by plane

We paid $750 for Hannah and were paying $1100 for Summerlyn.. both worth every penny. Neither has papers.. seen parents of both of them.. just cost more to have them registered....I know they're purebreds.

I paid $1300 for Wobie. He's AKC registered, and thats a pretty good price for yorkies in California.

Wesley was $950. He's AKC.
Maddie was $1800. She's ACA.

Gracie was $600 -- she'll be 6 years old on Oct. 22. At the time that was considered a lot (my friends thought I was nuts). She's AKC registered.

Before I got my yorkie, my mother got hers. She got a girl for I think $900, suppose to have good bloodlines and all that. Penelope ended up having that collasping trechea prob. she has the more stuck up, spoiled attitude, not really into playing. My mom got her to be her spoiled little princess though.

Then she got her boy Preston, I believe she paid $300 for him. He doesn't have papers. His personality is completely different. He is more the playful and cuddly one. Penelope loves clothes and going bye bye in a bag, Preston hates to go bye bye and doesn't like to get dressed. They are just as different as night and day.

I wanted one more like Preston. I didn't care that mine didn't have papers. I was going to get a boy, because that was only way my then boyfriend would agree. I got a surprise when it was an all girl litter, which made me VERY happy. I paid $350 for her and I don't regret it for a minute. Some say you get what you pay for, but she is the perfect angel and I couldn't imagine my life without her. I hope to get her a sister sometime soon. she really needs a playmate.

I paid $600.00 for Cody. I got his shot records and the papers just got to send them off to AKC.

Indy was free as a family member bred her. Benjamin was £250 (just over $500) and Malachi was £450 (just over $900).

Actually you can find good Yorkies for less than you paid. It just takes some time and research.

My breeder sell show dogs for 2000-3000$ but there is a clear difference between a show dog and a pet.

Kamikaze,300.00 AKC papers up to date on all shots and BEAUTIFUL hair born of champion bloodline as well.

the thing is the buyer makes the price. IF you show you are not willing to pay thousands then the demand price will go lower for the same quality of the product you purchase.

needless to say I am very content that I ran into a breeder who truly did not want to make a profit from selling a Yorkie as a pet, she honestly just wanted a great home for her dogs.
