I kind of got took on my Mariposa (Mari) She was $2500!! She is a little darling though and has turned out at 3.4 lbs. My husband still whines about the $$ but I tell him she's really worth $10,000, that shuts him up. The breeder GAVE me Angel Baby. She is the smallest dog she ever had and has a problem in her cerebrial area of the brain causing her to have a hard time walking. They named her Angel Baby because they thought she would never make it. She was 1/2 oz at birth. She had a will to live and was a good eater. The breeder, knowing me, knew I could give her ALL my attention. When I got her she was 1.1 lb at 9 mos old. Now she is a whopping 1.7 and turned a year June 9. She is truely a gift from God and I love her dearly. She is doing Very well physically and even tries to run, although she looks drunk. She is basically like cerebrial palsy.

We paid $1,200 for Lexi (3.3 lbs.) & got her when she was 10 weeks old. She is now 1 1/2 years old. We just bought Cricket (2.4 lbs) on Monday and she is 2 1/2 years old. We paid $900 for Cricket. The lady that we bought her from said that she paid $1,200 for her when she was a puppy. Both are AKC registered. I am now the happiest mom in the world with 2 of them!!!

Hi, I paid $1000 for Trixie Bear (4lb. female) and I paid $1800 for Princess Pia (2lb. female) Yorkies are so $$$$ but worth every bit. Both my babies are AKC registered with champion lines but I never plan to show them and could have cared less to get the papers. They are pets only and I would never ever think to breed them. (TOOOOO SMALLLL) Trixie has been fixed but Pia is currently in heat so when its done she will get spayed. She's just hitting 2lbs. and I'm so afraid to have it done.

I paid $2200 for Huck. I did TONS of research and looked for literally months before deciding on the breeder I ultimately chose. I had every indication she was knowledable and trustworthy. I was told he would be around 2.5 - 3 lbs, that he had a great coat, and an "impressive" pedigree. Well, he's just over 5 months and weighs 3 lbs 6 oz. There was only one champion listed on his 3 generation pedigree. And, now, I've discovered there is a good chance he has a wiry coat. I'm not dissapointed with Huck at all. How could I be? He's great puppy, with a super temperment. But, I do think I was way overcharged. Especially after reading all these posts.

HI!! We live in Los Angeles CA, so Yorkies are SUPER SUPER expensive out here with all of these CELEBRITIES carrying them around like they are another accessory! We paid $350.00 for Bubbles! Got her for a great price, because of MANY MANY REASONS! 1. Tail NOT docked (I could care less though) 2. Dewclaws NOT removed (she is an indoor dog, so this doesnt matter either!!) 3. He lived hours out of L.A, so we had a drive! He said that he had a really hard time finding homes for his pups, because he lived in a SUPER secluded area in the mountains!! 4. He didn't own a kennel and wasnt even a serious breeder, he was a BYB. I did get to see her momma and papa though, they were SUPER cute! Luckily for us, Bubbles is really really healthy! No health problems! We lucked out!! You get what you pay for, isnt always the case (it usually is though!!) I feel like Bubbles is PERFECT, I would have paid 10XXX that!
