I dont know if this is safe or not...but it seems to work well. I put Kelsey's leash (the hand held retractable leash) I lock it and give it a little bit of string....so she can move around comfortably in the passenger seat. But the handle is hooked on the seat belt and i bucklet the seat belt. Does that make sense? It works great.

Rexy and Rowdy have the same buddy lookout carseat (but in beige for boyz!) and we got ours from Tinkerbells' Closet too! They love it - of course Rowdy would rather be in his console lookout that we had before we got Rexy

My only problem is that they want to move from one side to the other sometimes and the straps get crossed. I have some giant safety pins and so I just pin each strap to the seat belt so that they can't switch sides - works like a charm.

On long trips, both of them just go to sleep and this carseat is ideal!!!

I bought a carseat for Benji at petsmart a few weeks ago and I highly recommend it. He absolutely loves it! It is perfect..he can see outside the window which is great when I leave for a minute to run into a store. He never loses sight of me. He is so cute...he gets all excited when I came back to the car. I love him to death. Enjoy the carseat!
