| Question, I have been wanting one of these but was unsure how the strap works to attach to the harness. How many came with that lookout?? Thanks

I have a console lookout carseat but it is only good for one . . and because the console is elevated, they have a good view of the outside. I want to get a bigger one but it won't fit in the console. Also, is it easy to move the lookout seat? I often drive alone and therefore would want them on the passenger side (so they will be close to me). . .but when I have someone else riding in the car, I will have to move it to the backseat. The console lookout is kinda permanent since it is too much of a hassle to keep moving it. Since I put it on, it has been there whether Tiger is with me or NOT. | |

| I have a question. The dog seats dont protect your babies if you were to get in an accident or slam on your breaks right? Is it more of just a comfort thing for them...almost like a bed in the passenger/back seat?

There is a strap that hooks onto their harness that would protect them like a seatbelt protects a passenger. You can search other carseat threads to read my story about an accident I had with my poodles years ago if you want. That's the main reason I even purchased the carseat for Tatum. She's never ridden in the car without being secured into it. It's the best thing for everyone - for your sanity and safety and the pup's safety! I've been told that although people think it's safe to ride with their dog inside a crate, it's really not because if you stop quickly or hit something, that crate will go flying..... not only hurting the dog but the other passengers also. Can't say enough great things about these carseats!
