| ![]() Claire~ Your post here touched me,and I do know what your saying, and it's not a good feeling. I too have felt that, we all have at sometime, but there is so much good here, you can't take it personally. Even today after thousands of post, there are times I post something or pics, and it gets few hits, but it is so random here, sometimes there are tons of people online but not POSTERS, or it makes a difference how you word your title, to get peoples attention, or intrigue them enough to make them want to see what your talking about. Don't give up sweetie, I have been there when I first joined, but it takes time. I for one will look at all your posts, I promise. ![]() Rhonda

| ![]() Thank you, this is something that needed to be said. I am new to this forum and have not posted some questions because I have read some threads that have gotten nasty and a little out of hand. This is a place where we can ask anything we are wondering about without worrying about backlash. Isn't that what it is for? Thank you for your honesty and all of your hard work!

| ![]() Claire, Please don't feel bad. I, for one, have followed your threads...I do not always respond because as someone said earlier...I just don't have anything that I think is useful to say. But I do admire your strength and courage...you have been going through so much but your voice stands out on here as someone who is strong and will prevail. I am so sorry that you have felt unwanted...I think we all feel that way when no one responds and it happens to all of us. Try not to take it personally..you would be missed if you stopped posting. ![]() ![]() ![]()

| ![]() Hi Claire - just read your post and wanted to say that I am new here as well. Sometimes it's a little intimidating to join an established forum where people have been friends for a long time. But from what I have seen and read, the majority of people here are genuinely kind and helpful. They have welcomed me warmly and made me feel wanted. (which I appreciate!) And now I extend that same welcome to you. If you ever want to talk and/or vent, please feel free to pm me. I may not reply immediately, (if I'm not online), but I will respond as soon as I log on. Remember - the reason we are here is that we ADORE our yorkies! That is something we ALL have in common. Cheers everyone!

| ![]() Claire, You sound like such a sweet person. I can related because I take things personally. Because I try so hard to be a nice person to others. It is a let down when we don't get back what we give. Hang around. There are many many nice loving people here. That's why I stay. Anytime I feel down they pick me right back up. Hopefully this thread helped you get picked back up. Congrats on that new baby! General statement: This thread is full of wonderful loving people. Those that are good hearted and kind. Many of you have replied nicely to my posts and some have even PMed me. I love reading this thread. It needs to be a sticky IMO. Some of us could have used it a day or two ago. Out of all the members here I hope there will be more posting. This thread had over 2k views but less than 100 replies. |

| ![]() Thanks to all for the very kind words. I just had a "light bulb" moment after a wonderful PM I just recieved. I am feeling down in the dumps and I took all the going's on here way too much to heart. I have gotten some great advice here and I have had alot of fun. I think what is needed is a short break from YT to regain my thoughts about myself so that I can have fun again. I need to take some time to take a long hard look at myself and my selfconfidance. I think that after a year long struggle I am finally in mourning over my many losses. I am going to take the free time that I have during the day, for the next few days, and instead of logging on to YT I am going to take a good hard look at myself and I am going to mourn. I am going to spend some time just being Claire and taking stock of my life. Thank you for your outpouring of love an support! It made me feel so loved and wanted! See ya in a few days!

I didn't feel too welcome right after my first post either, but I took the good Advice out of the responses, then just took the rest with grain of salt. One thing I have learned is that Yorkie people are very passionate about their beliefs, and for every question there will be conflicting responses. The one thing we all agree on is "Nothing beats a Yorkie". I have daughters your age, (with babies) and you can PM me anytime. Jeanie | |

| ![]() Yes, thank you, thank you, thank you - for this reminder to leave off the personal judgments and stick to the actual topic of the posts. The rudeness in criticizing members on a personal level, for example, for having less-than-clear typing and/or english/grammar skills, is totally unnecessary. Respect is key! Nobody deserves to be openly embarrassed. Responding to the new YT members' posts & questions is important for morale too - even if the long-term members have seen those threads hundreds of times. Everyone was new at one point. ![]()

| ![]() Thank you so very much for posting this. I'm a relatively new member and I have to admit that I have been a little scared to post any threads with questions for fear of getting rude comments.
