| Contact PetSmart; ask that they stop using term "Teacup" yorkie Oh my .... in quest to learn more about harness sizing, I happened upon a PetSmart webpage referring to "Teacup Yorkshire Terrier." Oh my, oh my. Hope folks will contact PetSmart's customer service line. Ask them to use the term "small" instead of "teacup" in order to promote yorkie health and save the lives of countless little ones. I called customer services (1-888-839-9638) and also used the "Leave Feedback" tab to send a written message. "Dog Harness Sizing Chart," PetSmart (accessed 28 June 2018). |

| My very same gripe with pet Supplies and PetCo, their doggie dresses with pic of yorkie size is for "teacup" not xxsmall. How can the public get educated when stores use the word teacup!!!!!

| I haven’t seen teacup as a size at Petco in a long time at least not in the clothes. They may have got educated. I have never had luck with Petsmart customer service but I only email and mail not talk on the phone.

| Thank you, Taylor. Wonder why the link I posted to that page isn't working. Will try again. https://www.petsmart.com/help/sizing-charts-H0012d.html If it goes bad, google search "PetSmart Harness Sizing." You can further click on the "Feedback" tab on the far right side of the page and leave a typed message. (I both telephoned and left "feedback.") Last edited by KatysMom; 06-28-2018 at 01:23 PM. |

| I sent them an email basically requesting that they help in maintaining integrity of Yorkshire Terrier breed by not using terms like "teacup" for smaller than average yorkie--as a yorkie is a yorkie is a yorkie no matter the size... |

| P.S. On that page, PetSmart is actually referring to the term "Teacup Yorkshire Terrier" as a BREED. |

Here is a roughly the "Feedback" text I sent. Save a yorkie!!! Please STOP using the term "Teacup" to describe ANY Yorkshire terrier (yorkie). Okay to use description "small"--but using the term "teacup" only promotes bad breeding practices and causes yorkies to lose their lives. | |

| I have never been a fan of putting breeds to like harness or clothing sizes because even dogs of the same breed can be all different sizes. I think it just helps confuse people. Like you have a new dog owner and they think since it says their dog breed it must fit and then it doesn’t.
