| I'm going on over 2 days and I literally am still crying so hard I can't breathe, I can't function or do anything, as soon as I try to do anything I fall apart and feel like I'm dying,I was hoping it was going it'd be easier but it just feels harder everyday to live without her, she was more like a little child than a dog, even her personality was more human like than my other dog, I literally am struggling to cope, I've felt pain before but never have I ever felt like this, she meant more to me than anything else in this world, I spent more time with her day and night than anyone else. My other dog milo is just pouting around like a little lump, he won't do anything, Usually he sits up when I put his ponytail in his hair, he wouldn't move, I had to do it while he laid sideways pouting, he keeps barking for her. If I go upstairs I see the little dirt pile amongst the snow where she's buried, this is my worst nightmare come true, I keep hoping I'll wake up and she'll be here again. |

| I am so sorry for your pain and loss of your baby. I lost my little Dudley 2 years ago this next June. I was the same way. I couldn't sleep, eat, or really get on with life. I went to my daughter's the next week thinking it would help me and the day I was returning home I saw an ad in the paper for a little male yorkie. He is nothing like Dudley but the sweetest little dog you could wish for. I think God sent me him to sooth my heart. Please try to focus on the one that is left. Even though he isn't your little girl, he is also hurting and needs you now to love him and hold him and let him know that you need him too. I am praying for you for peace in your heart.

| So very sorry for your loss. Collapsed trachea takes them so suddenly. I have lived it. It really is a devastating loss. We all know your pain. Time will heal….

As difficult as it is, your little boy needs extra attention and love. Help him grieve. Someday in the future you will feel less pain. One day at a time. Sorry for your loss. |

| I'm so sorry for your loss. If you're truly struggling to cope and it's greatly affecting your ability to function, maybe look into groups for people who are dealing with the loss of a pet. I know you can find that in certain communities/cities. And you'll be with other people who you can talk with in person who are going through the same thing and be supportive of each other, and some groups I believe are actually run by a psychologist. Actually I think they all are. It's completely normal to be grieving, crying, struggling to function, etc. But it can be nice to find a support group of people who understand the close bonds we can have with animals, and to just be there for each other. It's just an idea. I know some people might say it's silly, but those type of support groups I believe exist for a reason. The loss of a pet can affect someone just as much as losing a close friend or family member. Yorkietalk is great, but at the end of the day it's just an online community. Just know that there are other resources out there that may help you cope and get through this rough time. |

| I am so sorry. This must be truly horrifying. We lost our elderly laborador fairly suddenly (5 days from healthy to gone) and it was very hard. It helps to take time away. Hug your living dog. Talk to your SO or some other trusted person who will just listen. Cry as much as you need to. We definitely understand. My sweet little chihuahua has CT as well as other health troubles, and he's a senior. I worry about him a lot.

| I am so sorry. I had a similar thing happen with a kitty, but not due to CT. It died in my hubby's arms in the driveway as we were trying to rush it to the emergency clinic. It is very traumatizing. Lots of people DO understand, and have felt the same pain, for we have lost treasured furry loved ones, too, even if your friends and family do not understand. Again, I am so terribly sorry. Hugs.

| Sweetie, don't feel like you shouldn't feel the way you do right now especially about your baby. Dogs become a huge part of your life and they become your own child. I don't have kids but I just have this feeling that when I do and when I lose one of my yorkies, it will be just as bad. They are my world and I'm sure eventually my children will be as well. So it is normal to grieve during this hard time. It will be weird for a while, not having that little one at your side but just remember, they are in a better place and one day you will see them again. :::HUGS:::!!!!

| So sorry for your loss. Everyone grieves differently so just allow yourself to do this. You'll know when you're ready for a new pup. Sometimes it takes a very long time to heal but that is okay. |

| I am so sorry for your loss. It must have been the hardest ever to experience. I have a five pound Yorkie and she has breathing issues. Last vet (I've tried a few to get help for this) I took her too was adamant that she doesn't have a tracheal problem but without any test at all. She never makes the breathing noises while at the vet that she makes at home. Awake and asleep. Her episodes of breathing issues come and go and stress me out. Last time, at about three in the morning, it lasted for about thirty minutes.....longest ever. She cannot breathe, her tongue and gums get purple and sometimes her nose makes bubbles. She paces back and forth and seems to look to me for help and there is nothing I can think of to do to help her. I was so relieved when it was over. I have tried to record it on my phone but it seems to distress her more when I am pointing the phone at her, so I stop. Again, I am so sorry for your loss. |
