| Saw that about fabric softner on fan blades several years ago, on some cleaning tip show.....you can use the dryer sheets or fabric softner in water, on a washcloth....actually the washcloth dipped in a bucket of water + fabric softner works better than the dryer sheets! |

| A few years ago my skin got really sensitive, my clothes were making me itch like crazy. I'm also very sensitive to smells. Now I was my clothes with unscented and uncolored detergent and white vinegar, I don't use dryer sheets/balls/etc in the dryer. My clothes are soft and static isn't a problem. Clothes washed with fabric softener and dryer sheets make me gag now from the chemically perfume smell. Quote:

| I have terrible problems with migraines, and my sinuses also swell from perfumes and most chemicals. I was using Mrs. Meyers fabric softeners, one of the more green companies, and I was able to tolerate it. My dear friend Jackie recently bought a set of Woolsies for me, and they are wonderful. They are balls made from New Zealand wool. This catalog has a lot of awesome things in it. https://www.thegrommet.com/cleaning-...er-dryer-balls
