Yorkie Yakker | ![]() now how do i get the scammer off my back? every time i try to tell her i want out or im suspicious she comes up with another solution , this time she wants more personal information to 'apply for a card' to pay for the fee. (i haven't and won't give it to her- if it's not bad enough already she has my money and home address :'( i told her twice that im not comfortable sharing that info, and that i'v "been scammed before" and she responds back with "you can trust me, im not after that, it's the only way" im sorry, but that's exactly what a scammer would say :/ hello? person with red paint all over both hands standing next to a wall covered with the same sized red hand prints :/ as im typing this i get a text back from her offing to let me back out (after re guilt tripping me about 'i just want them to have a good home' ) :/ but still wants the info to return my money :/ although i would love my money back, to return what i borrowed and to look for a breeder - im not sure i'd trust her as far as i could trow her to actually not be scamming me further. so yeah, any advise? i was hoping not to have to involve any cops especially cuz she mentioned in her 'guilt tripping me' that she knows what happens to scammers who are reported so i was hoping to fix this quietly and i was doing this on my own so i'd hate to have to make official reports. |

| ![]() Why dont you tell her she can return your money via Western Union and she can send it to someplace that deals with Western Union....Walmart ? The Post office ? Western Union place? That "card" she wants you to use is the largest scam known to mankind....they are on TV every night telling people NOT to send those cards to ANYONE...... What about sending your money to a PO Box??? You can rent a PO Box for a month for a little of nothing....let her send it there! Where did you send the money so she got it??? She can return it the same way back to you! I am sure you did not mail it to her house! Ask her what she is going to do about the puppy she has abandoned at the airport because the shots and health certificate she supposedly had taken care of, was bogus? Tell her if you dont get your money returned to you, you will be notifying the police and you will also be reporting her to FTC and Customs Agents about the dog being abandoned at the airport. I would go down to the police department and ask them if yopu can give this woman THEIR address to mail your money back! Tell them what has happened, what you are caught up in, and tell them you are afraid to give her your address because you are afraid she is part of a gang and you are afraid she will come rob you if she has YOUR address. See what they tell you..... Last edited by Yorkiemom1; 03-09-2015 at 02:14 PM. |

| ![]() Do not be shy about this, this woman scammed you of your money! Do not let her guilt trip you! I think you are really hoping that this is not a scam and that there is really a puppy waiting for you ![]() At this point it doesn't sound like she will stop trying to scam you further because she knows your prone to this guilt tripping technique. Personally, I wouldn't even bother trying to negotiate this further. I would tell her I'm reporting her to the police and do so. Better safe than sorry!

And hate to break it to you, but if you can't afford to be out $400 (well I mean who wants to be out $400) you can't afford a dog, let alone a yorkie. Buying the dog is the cheapest part of the equation. You asked for our advise I hope you take it this time. We all told you last time not to use Money Gram and that person seemed shady. Think about it, if someone really had dogs to rehome, for free, wouldn't there be a bunch of people in their own town, let alone friends or family that would take them off their hands first? If you want to get a yorkie for a few hundred dollars, look into reputable rescues.

If you do NOT report her, you are actually aiding and abetting a criminal in her prusuit of criminal activity. There is NO DOG! NO puppy! Take that bleeding heart of yours and try to help the next "bleeding heart" this woman is going to scam.

| ![]() You didn't answer my question about not contacting the police. Why not?

| ![]() That is not an acceptable answer. The scammer is not even in your jurisdiction. At the very least, put your tax dollars to work. Yes, anything to do with animals are low on the totem pole for cops, but you have to do this to try to stop scammers from doing this again.

I think since you did send her money, and $400 is a lot of money to be out, I would try to do something about it. Contact the police or something. That's just my 2 cents. And good luck on your search. Just be patient and you'll find the right yorkie for you!

| ![]() If you really want to just cut your losses- block her number and change your email and move on.. There is probably not a whole lot you can do and it doesn't sound like you want to do anything confrontational anyway.. Therefore, just move on and I hope you have learned from this experience and I also hope that anyone who is considering buying a puppy in a similar way can learn from your experience, too. In the end, learning from our experiences is sometimes the best thing that comes out of those experiences. |

YT 2000 Club Member | ![]() I hate to hear people ripping good dog loving people off. Now my Lord lives and hears every prayer and will not let this person have peace in her heart. I will pray for I believe we reap what we sow. This person will live miserable. Satan guides her life. You will get the best dog. Look up be positive watch God work in your life. I THANK Jesus for always working things out for our good. You will get your Yorkie! |

YT 1000 Club Member | ![]() Especially if you have this individuals name and phone number(before they decide to disconnect it). If you don't want to get the police involved have them send your funds via western union. I highly doubt they will refund you anything though. Do not give your address or any other personal information. This person does not care about doing right by you and is simply looking to scam you further. |
