I am not sticking up for this vet, just saying what my vets procedure is, they have a special check out time. Also could be your vet wanted to check her out before release, remember, your vet has other pets to see. As for asking could you just come in to hold her and they said NO, could be they were doing rounds. My vet and her techs do rounds from 9AM to 11AM. Visit time is 1 to 4 PM, check out at 5PM. Just giving you food for thought, not sticking up for the vet. At least she's home now, you can unwind and relax and pamper that sweet lil girl. Just happy to know she is home and back on the road to recovery.

This is what the vet gave me to help me understand better how some dog food companies throw together something then just sell it to us....no testing or nothing. science Diet has that approval seal on the back that means it was tested before marketing.. And she also had a point about life stages dog food ....saying that a puppy will get "too much" and an adult dog doesn't get "enough"....I was using Fromm.....

She said she has been to their manufacturing plant also and it is immaculate and high tech and they raise their own chickens and process everything themselves...I told her why then I can't find anything good said about them?! She blames the internet and myths that people set their mind too....
Oh mercy , I know I am weary .....I have spent months and month dissecting dog food trying to make the RIGHT choice then I come home to a RECALL😫

Thanks, I understand ...it's just been a very difficult week...and yes Zoey just wants to play ball and sniff the air, and give sweet kisses all the time.but gotta be careful not to overdo ,crazy little girl.
Ahhh I smell doggy cookies in the oven...but eww it's baked canned SDiet...

Glad to hear she has a high opinion of Fromm's manufacturing plant (they have 2 now in different states).

Fromm does do testing, feeding trials. I have to disagree with your vet on that one.

As I wrote earlier, I don't like the ingredients of ALL of Fromm's kibble flavors. No dog food is right for every dog.

I am very happy that Zoey is back to herself. No more scary episodes!
