But it's okay because she changed her vet like at 7:00 Friday night, and has had all the testing done for her spay surgery for Monday morning. I'm sure they rushed the blood work and labs, since her dr was kind enough to set up the appointment Friday night.

| I thought alta was fixed already. I'm also confused because in a other post she said they were a family of 3, so either someone else lives there besides her and the boyfriend or they have a kid. I'm so confused by everything this girl posts. Quote:

| Most "complexes" are apartments and don't have large yards for dogs??

I guess it could depend on the area of the country you are in, but in Southern California we also referred to groups of condos as a "complex". To the OP: I'm going to suggest you take a moment and slow down. It's easy to get caught up in Yorkies and want an entire houseful. But it's much better for the pups if you give them time to adjust before adding another. Get through your spay surgery and recovery first and then give it some more time to see if adding another truly fits in to your plans and budgets. Dogs are for life and far too many end up in shelters and rescues or abandoned because people didn't give adequate thought to the potential consequences.

| I would try to get a dog that fits in well with my pack dynamics. I am also a sucker for the seniors! I feel so bad that they are in a rescue as an older dog. Rescuing a dog can be much more difficult than buying one. A lot require home checks, fences, and they really check out the adopters. These dogs have already been displaced once...so most rescues want to do their best to ensure a good fit and give their rescues the best life possible. |

How did you get a spay set up in less than a day? You don't even want to get to know this vet before subjecting your baby to them??? Hmmm
