| ![]() Vet told me to give her what she would eat but a very small amount... I gave her chicken and rice and a few skinny noodles and she threw it up...so she took a little nap but is very restless and ate a little pumpkin alittle later.I heard that settles their stomach about 1/4 tsp and that did help. AND the weirdest thing happened she went to the "scary" corner of the bed she would never go to before! It is well padded and has like a little well that would hold her like a weenie bun against the wall and she's fast asleep! Took her 2 hours to settle down! |

| ![]() Gave Gina little amounts of Enercal, then about an hour ago she ate, she's been sleeping fine, and went outside to pee. She's been drinking fine and holding everything down no problems. If I haven't said that I love my vet, then I need to, she's the best vet we've ever used. She has small dogs herself and is just the best all around. Megan, came home and was the same as Gina, except that Megan didn't get spayed till she was 12 I think, she had a bladder infection that had spread to her uterus, she hadn't been spayed when she was young because of her heart. I did put Gina in her preemie onesie after the 3rd time she tried to lick her incision. She is now sleeping in her crate, but has been up and walking a few times tonight. Cheers Quad & Gina ![]()

| ![]() I try every hr a little food with pumpkin and so far so good , she doesn't eat anymore than a rounded teaspoon but she will turn her head when she has had enough....I need to crate her by my bed for tonight though, she is just pacing and so hungry she's eating her feet, almost and wont settle down again.......plus she just pee'd on her blankee .....that is a first and too close to mine! She is quiet now so that must be what she needed .....limited space and her old home ![]() Be a long nite......did yours sleep thru first night? |

| ![]() No pain meds, and Cook hasn't looked like she is in pain at any time today. She was really groggy yesterday, but no whining other than when she'd want me to take her outside to pee. I didn't even ask my vet if he used a scalpel or laser, but the incision is pretty darn small. I trust him 110%, so whichever way he wanted to do it is the way I wanted. He did some surgery on Minnie a few years ago and I was extremely happy with the result. Plus the way he fought for Minnie at the end further cemented him as my go-to guy.

| ![]() That's amazing....no pain....they will make it and that's all that counts..... Anyone hear how that changes their temperament? Or is that just an old wives tale....my fur baby is so sweet and happy I'd hate to see that change! |
