My little girl, Tatiana, also has an open fontanel and my vet checks it every time I take her in for a check up, illness or shots. I will keep her in my prayers.

You'll need to keep an eye out for more neurological symptoms such as vomiting, uneven pupils, excessive sleepiness, loss of coordination. If you notice any symptoms, you need to get her back to a vet ASAP.

| ![]() Aww it will be ok. They are tough babies. I remember when jasmin was 5 months old. DH likes to play toss with her where he toss her onto the sofa. She loves it. One time I was sitting on sofa and he didn't see my knee. He toss her and her head hit my knee hard. She made this horrifying noise and fainted for a few second. I was so scared. However, she got right back up and wanted to play again. Lol. She is fine.

| ![]() On a human who had a loss of consciousness from a head injury they would probably do an MRI to check for blood clot or bleeding of the brain. A local GP vet isn't set up for such tests and usually pet owners would not have the funds to do one. It sounds like she did get a good hit but hopefully she will continue to do well. It is very possible to have a hit to the head and not have internal bleeding or long term effects. It sounds like she is recovering just fine. |

| ![]() Maybe you can take her some where you can stay and watch and be with her the whole time so you can make sure they are gentle.
