I have a really nice couple coming to look at the pups on Sunday.
Originally my sister said they were coming to look at Lola and the puppies.
My husband and I both agree that Lola is home and not going anywhere.
If they pick out a puppy it will live in Missouri. This couple lost their beloved pet several months ago and if they decide on one of my pups I feel confident that it will have a loving forever home. They will be a month old tomorrow and I know I will have to let them go in a few weeks. It will be hard but I also know that they deserve someone's undivided attention. You can bet I'm gonna get sweet little kisses and puppy breath while I can.

Joyce, get a vet reference from them and check it!! Are you letting these puppies go unaltered?

I will get references and check them all. Shortly I will have no place to keep all of them. They are growing so fast so my next move is to put them in one of the larger x-pens. Of course in the house because of owls, hawks, mosquitos, fleas... I do not have a fenced in yard that will hold them and do not want to take a chance on running over them with our cars. That was one of my fears when Lola was running the streets. Keeping them long enough to be spayed and neutered...I'd love to but not sure that is an option. Time is growing near and I should probably start talking to no-kill shelters as well. This is where it gets tough!

I am sorry you have to go through this part, no fun. Let's hope through word of mouth you can find homes for them all and a no kill shelter is not needed. Suggestion on the spay or neuter is maybe you can ask for a small deposit from owners that will be returned upon proof of spay or neuter? We are smart animal lovers on this forum, we can help you figure out a way to get this accomplolished.

Thank you. Great suggestion!! I'm just hoping that there are still people out there that love mutts like we do. I need all the help and advise I can get right now. Yesterday little Caddy kept climbing on my lap as I sat on the floor by their kennel...her tail wiggling the whole time. I told her to stop being soo cute but she wouldn't...talk about tugging at my heart strings!!! Hannah (my Yorkie) loves the puppies. She lays down and lets them climb all over her while licking them. She thinks she has 7 new buddies to play with. She doesn't know what direction to go in when the pups move around. So funny to watch! I'm really am glad I have all of you!!!

Joyce, maybe now you should contact Pup Squad...perhaps they can help with the spay/neuter part now that you have gotten them this far? I don't know, but worth asking!

My mom and I have been following this thread. So glad to know Lola is home!! It is amazing how such little brown eyes can steal our hearts. I pray all the puppies find good loving homes. Thank you for all you have done for her Joyce.

Oh...so hard to place them. I hope you find perfect forever homes for them, though, where they will be as loved as they are with you. You certainly saved all their lives, and you are an absolute angel for helping them. {{{Hugs}}}
