| ![]() Ugh! That is just so frustrating. Maybe Animal Control or the Police will contact the owner. Hope so!

| ![]() I sure hope so. They can't keep the whole neighborhood in fear because they cannot control their dogs.

| ![]() This is sooo scary! I can't even imagine... and what scares me more about it w/ us is Jackson will fight back, gladly. He never starts anything, but if a dog comes running up in a threatening way to him, he won't hesitate to fight. And unfortunately he would most likely lose to a big dog ![]()

| ![]() im just seeing this so thankful the babies are ok. what a horrible experience and for that owner to not even have collars on his dogs is wrong never mind letting them run around with no control over them. hope it doesnt happen again and this owner maybe will think about being a more responsible owner in the future.

YT 2000 Club Member | ![]() That guy is an idiot. He has no regard for people or dogs. I see so many people with their dogs off leash and it only takes one dog to get the little ones. My dogs are on a leash and I carry some spray. I am so thankful little Kloe is ok. |

| ![]() I got a call from Animal Control today. I'm impressed with their turn around time. I submitted the complaint last night around 7 pm! I was in a training, but I was able to get away for a couple minutes to talk to the AC officer. He said he spoke with the owner and he was very apologetic. He said he could have hit him hard with fines, but it seemed like he was sorry. Well, at least something was done and the guy knows he can't act like that. If anyone calls to complain about his dog again, he will get an automatic fine.

![]() ![]() ![]() My God I know you were terrified! I am so thankful it did not end with a hurt or dead Yorkie ! ![]() I honestly think the next time an A$$ tells me I am a worry wart, drama queen or nut case, I am going to go all berserk on them. This awful stuff happens every day ! I am not paranoid. Yorkies are like having a baby, they need constant protection. ![]() This makes me so mad when people say they won't hurt your dog. I want to yell, Ok you walk out and stand on a football field and let a 300 pound Tackle, um... just run at you and knock you down. Would that be painless ? Would you be scared ? GRRRRRRR

| ![]() Just reading your post brought back terrible memories of the attack that me and my dog suffered several years back. I didn't have time to pick him up before the dog was upon my little guy. I thankfully still had my purse in my hand and hit that dog as many times as I could with it while trying to pick my guy up. The owner was a young male who got all bent out of shape because I had the nerve to smack the daylights out of his dog that was trying to kill my little guy. It's sad to say that so many dog owners are clueless about dog training and pay no attention to leash laws or just common sense. Owners of larger dogs many times do not realize the prey instinct that their animals have. A dog that is running free and finds a small animal has an inborn instinct to chase and attack even if they have never done it before. My son has a Lab that is perfectly behaved and loves Gracie when inside but when he is outside I cannot let Gracie near him because he wants to "play" by trying to stomp her into the ground. He is a great dog and a wonderful pet in his own environment. He becomes a different fellow when he is outside with a small furry little dog that looks like something to play with. I wish pet owners would just keep their animals under control. If I don't let my 5lb little dog run loose then certainly people with much larger dogs should do the same. |

| ![]() I'm so sorry that you and your babies have gone through this. They took something very important away from you, the joy of walking with your dogs feeling peaceful and serene. I'm relieved that Khloe wasn't hurt; I'm sure you will help her to overcome her fears now. Please stay safe, and take some time to hug your babies, let them know loved they are, and feel the love they have for you, a mom who would do everything in her power to protect her babies. Sometimes, no matter how protective we are, we can't prevent everything from happening, but we learn from these experiences, we all have, and then we do better the next time. |

| ![]() The only other thing I might suggest, now that the initial report has been made, is to let other home owners in that neighborhood know, so that if they notice these same dogs running loose they could make reports as well...maybe a nice big hefty fine would do the dogs owners a world of good.

However the AC officer did give my grandpa and his neighbor a form for if the dogs are loose again. All they have to do is take a picture, submit the form and the fines for this man double. That means over 2k in fines is possible if his dogs are seen out wandering again. I am sure that will motivate him to keep them under control.
