| ![]() Glad your all ok. I can't believe that guy was yelling at your family. If the circumstances were changed, and it was his dog running for it's life, I'm sure he would have used whatever force was needed to stop the other dog.

| ![]() How scary! I dont know why people let there dogs run loose and especially pit bulls. If that dog bites someone those stupid people will be sued and should be. Im glad Khloe is okay and was able to get away from those dogs.

| ![]() I agree! If he would have killed Khloe, I hope he would have been pts. I just don't understand how people can be so irresponsible and not only risk the lives of other dogs, but their own as well!

| ![]() I called Animal Control in King County today. They told me that in order to make a complaint, I had to fill out a form on their site. She said the only way you can make a complaint over the phone is if the dog is loose when you call them. So, I made a very extensive report and I really hope something is done. Now everytime I visit my grandparents, I am going to be fearful of those dogs. So sad.

I've also thought about... What if all three of our dogs had been on the ground? OMG. They would have for sure attacked and killed one of them. I'm thankful that we had enough time to get the two dogs up, but I am still kicking myself for not being able to snag Khloe until it was too late ![]()

| ![]() This is the report that I made on top of the form that they provided. I felt that a more extensive explanation was needed. They only provided a few lines to explain, so I attached this as a word document. I hope to follow up soon to see if anything will be done. This was written in haste, but I hope it gets the point across... These dogs are aggressive and their owners should be held responsible for their actions. Dogs involved: -Two larger breed dogs (one black and one brown/white about lab/pit bull sized) it was darker, so exact breeds are unknown -My 5 pound Yorkshire terrier. Incident Details: At approximately 9:30 pm on Saturday (July 6th) I was with my family in the driveway of my grandparents’ house at (address). We were walking out of the garage to get into the truck. We were walking to the truck (that was in the driveway) with our dogs and noticed the dogs across the cul-de-sac were running toward us quickly. I grabbed one of my dogs, my mom grabbed hers, but before I could grab my second dog, the two neighbor dogs were in the driveway. The two larger dogs proceeded to chase my 5 pound yorkie across the cul-de-sac, around the truck in the driveway, through bushes, cornered her in the garden bed in front of the porch and finally into my grandparents house. The dogs were chomping at my dog and were acting very aggressive toward her. The female owner of the dogs was yelling “They are friendly!” but we could see that they were just the opposite. My dog was yelping and running for her life while the 6 of us adults were trying to catch the dogs. My husband tried to bear hug one of the dogs and slipped in the driveway and tore up his leg. My grandfather (an elderly 81 year old man) at one point took a piece of trim (a 1” x 2”) piece flooring transition and swatted at one of the dogs. We were eventually able to catch my dog who was trembling, had expressed her anal glands all over herself and her heart was pounding out of her chest. She had run for her life and was lucky to survive. The dog that chased her into the house was unable to catch her and she was smart enough to find a hiding place, and that saved her life. These dogs were not friendly and saw my dog as food or prey. They were biting at her, not trying to play like the owner tried to say. After my dogs were all safe, one of the owners (a male) started yelling. He started shouting at us for hitting his dog. His words were “How would you like it if I hit you with a 2”x4”?!” (We did not even have a 2x4, so we don’t know where he got that). He kept repeating this, and threatened to hit my husband. He was threatening to assault us and I was frightened. My grandfather (the one who hit the dog) had felt threatened, the dogs were trespassing, acting aggressive and in the end, and my dog’s life was at stake. We tried to explain to him that he needed to be able to control his dogs, and not once did he apologize for his dogs’ aggressive behavior and luckily chose to go back inside instead of start a physical fight. After this confrontation occurred, several neighbors came out because they heard the commotion. They spoke with us about the scenario. One of the neighbors mentioned that the dogs are out all the time and when she pulls into her driveway, she does not get out of her car until they go away because they have charged her. During this incident, my dog’s life was threatened, my family’s safety was compromised, aggressive dogs trespassed onto my grandparents’ property and into their home and we were verbally threatened. The owners did not take responsibility for their dogs actions and this is a very scary thing. They need to be held accountable for their dogs’ behavior and know this is not acceptable. We now live in fear that their dogs could run into the home to get my dogs. These dogs did not have collars on and their owners did not have them under verbal control. What happens if these dogs see a small child and decide to act the same way? The dogs belonged to the house across the cul-de-sac (a brown one story home) with the address of: (address). They are renters and are compromising the safety of the neighborhood with their irresponsible pet ownership.

| ![]() Sounds pretty good, hope it helps to keep those dogs controlled, confined and away from your family and dogs. Poor Khloe...my heart just breaks for her.

| ![]() The report sounds detailed and very well worded. I see at the end that you say these people are renters. I wonder if there is any way you could locate the owners of the home and notify them of this..? Perhaps print out that report and send it to them. I am sure they would not want people who can't control their pets living on their property. If something were to happen...the dogs injure someone or something...that home owner may very well be held accountable legally. I'd bet he/she/they would want to know about this.

| ![]() Hmmm, I would probably start with asking some of the other renters on the cul-de-sac...maybe the same owner owns more than one. And, there is probably a way you can check public record in the city for who owns a property. I am not sure how to go about that, but I would contact city hall and go from there.
