| ![]() For my young puppies I put their dry food in a small double sided bowl like you can buy at Wal-mart. If you are mixing dry with a little canned food then I recommend a small saucer or plate. For me Corelle plates work good. Over the years I have had some yorkies that take great pleasure in playing with their food bowl so for some of mine I use heavier bowls that are not easy to tip over and they don't have a 'lip' for the pups to get hold of.

| ![]() Abby eats from little rice bowls, so pretty! Ziva needs a flat plate and I use corningware "sidekicks" .We have quite a collection from church/yard sales! They have a little stainless durapet bowl for water but prefer the big dogs water dish- better to soak their whole face in! |

| ![]() I went to petsmart today and got martha stewart bowls with the lids that one member recommended! I love the fact that they have a lid!! The size Medium was on sale for $10 so I got the medium although they might be a little big for Miley now. But it didn't make sense to pay almost $12 for the smalls when the Mediums where on sale! |

| ![]() Mea culpa, LOL! I mentioned the bowls as they are so practical and look very cute, especially the colors. I like the lids too. They are so easy to clean and she also has a bowl with bumps in it that slow down greedy eaters! You sure got a good deal on the medium, and that is pretty small. Hope Miley enjoys her bowl! Perhaps the bigger the better for her. LOL! |

| ![]() Mandie will NOT eat or drink out of a stainless bowl or a bowl that her ears touch. I learned this early on. I started feeding her in a shallow WIDE ceramic bowl. I have a huge water-jug-filling bowl for both my dogs to share. Hard to explain it but trust me...no stainless and no ears touching. I think it freaks them out to see their reflection. And it definitely bothers Mandie to feel her ears touching. Oh! Come to think of it - when I recently changed my big boy's bowls, he wouldn't use the big, deep stainless ones that came with it. I had to start using those same ceramic wide mouth bowls for him. I think his ears touched on the new bowls versus the old, smaller ones.
