Size of bowls?? I'm sorry if this was discussed before but i'm getting things off my checklist for Isabella and not sure rather to get an xs bowl or just go ahead and get the small i know she is going to be tiny but it's been awhile since i've seen a yorkie in person and just dont want to get something that she will have trouble using at first if that makes sence |
We use a shallow cat bowl that is 5" in diameter for my big boys. Sometimes we use a plate. For water, we have very small glass bowls. Do you have a link to the bowls you are looking at? |
Good question! I too still need to get bowls for Miley but never knew which ones to go with. I'm sure someone here can help us out :) |
Bowls Martha Stewart has some cute bowls with sealed tops for travel. 4 inches diameter at top. I think they are in Petsmart. |
Thanks guys! this is the bowl I was looking at Platinum Pets Stainless Steel Dog Bowl - Pink |
IME none of my dogs like stainless. Dunno but I just use Pyrex glass. No lead hard to break and easy to clean. I like stainless because its easy to sanitize. But I change bowls every feeding and wash them everytime. but those finished ones maybe different. I can imagine the dog just not liking the stainless or metal taste?? Dunno. |
I use stainless shallow cat bowls as well. I have a bunch of different ones, but I always go back to the shallow cat dishes. I also use little bread plates when those are all in the dishwasher. |
I tried alot of different types, but ended up with a bunch of ceramic people bowls for ZoE. You'll need a bunch or you'll be washing bowls at every feeding and water refill. |
We use ceramic bowls for water and food. |
I have tons of bowls but use the ceramic smallest ones from Walmart in the dog section the most. I have a little bigger one for water. Then I have a water fountain in the kitchen. |
I have little ceramic cat bowls. I have a few water bowls around because everyone drinks out of them |
I use small pyrex bowls for water and plates for feeding.. since Lani likes her food warmed up |
I use the smallest ceramic dog bowls you can get from Petsmart. Why ceramic? They are very heavy and don't tip over. They also clean easily. |
