Agencies and organizations will rarely take complaints from people online and out-of-state who are reporting or inquiring about third-hand reports of dog abuse and cannot really use it against anyone to effect any change. As a citizen of that city or state where that horror is going on that you yourself have personally repeatedly witnessed, you have legal standing and could step up and report them to every single city/county agency with oversight over these kinds of stores, starting with Animal Control and also TV station, newspaper, animal organization and legislator in that state. If you don't live there, find another person who does who knows about it and do something! Sometimes the person needing to act for a dog is the one that has actually seen it. Don't you think it's time you acted to try to help these dogs? :clock: |
here you guys go again making assumption that i live in brooklyn and in that state which i do not...just cause ive been there doesnt mean im a citizen of that state |

im not a sarcastic person actually i never said anything with sarcasm intended i feel judged...if i lost you like yesterday then why are you still responding? (rhetorical question) |

I don't know whether you intended that response above as sarcastic, but I can tell you that it certainly comes off as sarcastic....which will result in nothing good. But you're new, so out of common courtesy I always err on giving people the benefit of the doubt...which I'm more than happy to extend; I think it's only fair. If there is sarcasm occurring in this thread, let's stop before it gets ugly. There is absolutely NO reason whatsoever for any one of us to act like a jerk via sarcasm. |
Thans so much for your input its an eyeopener...i originally came here because bentlysmommie was ,i feel, being attacked because she wanted a certain size...i mean no one ever gets on people who want bigger yorkies its like the skinny person fat person in dog world...i like teacups (and i will use that term) bred in a safe and healthy environment it does happen thats my point no puppy mill no backyard breeder...it may or may not be a show dog but im sure the show dog breeders do dishonest things you just havent heard about them |
Yes, we have heard of things show breeders do and speak up about those as they come up. |
Wow alrighty then, just trying to imagine a littly around the house with sons who have size thirteen feet, adult feet!!!,my weak heart would never be able to behold that. Imagine the stress the poor pup must suffer everytime these giants walk past! Not a pleasant thread, certainly not from a newby anyway :thumbdown |

Soooo many egos and self righteousness Amyazer I just want to give you a thumbs up in regards to your recent post! Thank you for saying that using the term "teacup" is not a bad thing because it's not an AKC approved word and sticking up for the original poster. A word is what you make of it. Last time I checked "teapot" isn't a breed either but members on here so lovingly use it. I'll call my puppy a teacup, teapot, gorilla,or pot bellied pig if I choose to because she is mine and if I am taking care of her whose to say I can't? The original poster bentlysmommie had concerns in not getting what she paid her hard earned money for(which was a small sized puppy), which I'm sure many of you can understand(not getting what you pay for). She didn't say anywhere within her post that she didn't want him if he got bigger than was expected. She didn't know there was not a sub breed category of Yorkie called a "teacup", but she was quickly informed of this by some members(quite rudely at times). I'm a new member and I don't know about any other newbies out there, but this thread is reminding me of fanatics who fail to agree to disagree and ALWAYS think their right. Get a grip ladies/gentlemen it's just a word and don't get your knickers in a twist over someone using it! *this member would like to give a round of applause to amyazer for standing your ground against the majority please take your bow ma'am* |

Admin felt it was such a strong message to get out there that they posted a sticky thread in the For Sale forums: TEACUP YORKIES - There is NO SUCH thing! |
Oh Lordy! I see the teacup debate is alive and well....LOL! |
