Ding, ding, ding...exactly right! Taylor hit it on the head as well...Mini is AKC...yep Mini, who is the perfect example of what a Yorkie SHOULD look like. Yep Mini who is beautiful but on the inside....my Mini was born with no hips (Legges's Perthes), Luxating Patellas by age one. An eye that needed surgery but she had to suffer until she gained weight enough to tolerate surgery. Mini who is highly allergic to humans and just about every other thing on the planet. Mini who has bouts of illness that take her to the edge of death...for no apparent reason. Mini who has yet to go 3 months of her 8 years without an emergency situation developing....My beautiful girl is AKC.....MEANS NOTHING.

BTW Her puppymill was closed down because they found too many dead dogs too many times laying in cages, over in the teacup area they found a momma pup who was dead with a pup hanging out of her...yeah she died in childbirth...that could have been Mini's mom...I shudder....

But I found the same things when I googled her too & that's why I said what I did when I stated I did not feel this was a reputable breeder when asked days ago by Colesmommy.

No ya'll I was referring to lynzy....I do not mind whatsoever discussing a subject with ANYONE we learn things everyday even when we're old as dirt! But being insulted by anyone is not something I will allow someone to do to me. For example being called "naive" or "uneducated". I'm sure you do know more about the breeds ins and outs than I do especially if you're a breeder, but please understand I and everyone else on this forum are entiltled to their own opinions whether or not it is the same as yours or mine. I have spoken with you respectfully without calling you names or questioning your intelligence, I expect the same from you.

I thought I'd posted this link to the YT library that helps people learn how to choose a breeder but I must have been on another thread trying to help educate a fellow member on how to find a reputable breeder.

Heartbreaking beyond belief. The words I would say to describe the greeder puppymiller who bred her for no reason but to make money - those words would get me banned for good. Little Mini suffers a life of sickness because some greeder wanted money and didn't care what it cost a precious dog to get it. Thankfully somehow she wound up with a very special lady who cares lovingly for her and fights like a demon to put these and other human stains who breed casually or for any other reason than to improve the bred, out of business. Give little Mini a kiss and a hug from me and so glad you are on the side of helpless dogs.

But you are being naive & uneducated when it comes to distinguishing the difference from an unethical greeder to a reputable breeder.
