| Yorkies chew things, too. They have a all the bad habits and more that other dogs have. They need to be trained just like any other dog. Have you ever seen a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel? They are darling little dogs but sturdier than a Yorkie. I was going to get one until I found Gracie. Still considering getting one. They have a much more laid back personality than the Yorkie. |

Absolutely...so are Labs, and some other breeds. The neighbor's Collie loved being around us kids so much that when we moved, he fell into a deep depression and they asked us to please take him since he refused to eat or drink or socialize with them. We did, he bounced right back and regained all the weight he'd lost, and when my little sister grew up a bit, she rode him, too. My children's aunt rode their Shepherd as well when she was young.

| Thank you that is exactly what I have been trying to do with her because when she gets older she will be around livestock etc... I thought puppies would be a good place to start. |
