I would never mix a 2 year old with a yorkie puppy. Put aside the yorkies are fragile thing, but think of the work raising a kid and a demanding breed dog. I would run out into traffic if I had to potty train a suborn yorkie and toddler at the same time. I like to say yorkies are not a breed, but a lifestyle. |
Labs require a LOT of training to be good family dogs. Many people think that it is just in their temperament...not so. You have to work with them.
