I really pray Ellie sees this and sees if it is him. If he is truly neutered, and was brought in on the 1st this could be him. I hope and pray that it is. I hope she can make a trip there, because who knows if someone at the shelter is not lieing to her about him being neutered, so they can take him home if he is not claimed.

I haven't looked at that little guy's picture yet as I fear it would haunt me, from the way he's described. And if he's not Bengi and I look, I could be on the next plane going to Florida! He just sounds so forlorn and sad and alone there, the thought of that dog is haunting me and I haven't even seen him!!!

Well he looks like a sweetie. he seems fearful in the photo (ears down), and like he's had a heck of a time playing in a puddle, but not neglected at all.

i totally understand you're not wanting to look though. you can tell he is just a bath and hug away from being a beauty. makes me want to get on a plane as well!!! if only he knew how many people were loving him from afar...erg here come the tears again...

Me, too! His situation and description appearing on this particular thread with so much angst, frustration and worry on it just suddenly tore me up. I started to click and thought no, if he looks ill, thin, scared silly, broken - any of those things - I'd just go nuts worrying so what he's been through and is going through and worry who he's going to wind up with. I might do something drastic I really couldn't handle in the long run. So I couldn't click - not yet.

I know what he looks like in a picture, but I need more than a picture to know its him. Distinguishing features? missing teeth, overbite, underbite, dewclaws intact, etc.
