				 | You can also apply coconut oil to the skin if her vulva looks irritated. It's great for skin irritations, naturally antibacterial, antiviral, antifungal and antiparasitic.

				 | I take cranberry tablets for myself to help prevent them. I wonder if cranberry juice would work?, or cranberries? The acid helps prevent bacterial growth in the urinary tracts, bit it must be pure cranberry juice not a cranberry juice cocktail

				 | Sorry for your babe For humans, it's said that one should make urine more acidic (e.g. Drinking cranberry juice). I don't know how that can be administered to a canine. But I believe the only cure for a well-confirmed infection is only antibiotics. Demand something to relief her discomfort. The urge to urinate may be because the infection unables the proper emptying of the bladder, but it's full so there's an urge to empty it, but has to be little by little. (this is m own hypothesis I developed when I had an UTI myself) Best of luck

I literally can't leave her side and I have to go back to work tomorrow. Luckily, my mom can "babysit". If she is running around outside, she is fine but when she is inside, she is spending most of her time lying on the couch beside me because if she runs around in the house and gets that "urge" (which is always), she can't always make it to her pad and then she feels guilty. It's so sad.......she just looks up at me and puts her ears back like she is saying "I'm sorry". I just want her better...........this is so hard on both of us!!!!

				 | Have you checked with your vet whether fresh cranberries would be ok? They're such a common remedy for UTI's - might it be worth an ask? Sally + Harry x |

				 | In reguards to cranberry... I take both cranberry supplimebts daily and keep Knudesons Just Cranberry on hand at all times. However drinking (Oceanspray etc) cranberry juice with SUGAR is like taking antibiotics while eating ecoli...as is its titally counter productive. I rarely drink soda ever as the sugar amount is enough to give me a UTI...
