But I believe the only cure for a well-confirmed infection is only antibiotics. Demand something to relief her discomfort. The urge to urinate may be because the infection unables the proper emptying of the bladder, but it's full so there's an urge to empty it, but has to be little by little. (this is m own hypothesis I developed when I had an UTI myself)

 Best of luck

Her bladder is not full........when I took ber back to the vet yesterday, he said it was empty and she isn't even tender to squeeze. He still thinks the urge is being caused by an irritation from the procedure. Plus he is still waiting for the culture results so chances are the antibiotic she is on is not even the right one to help her. Hopefully by tomorrow the culture results will be complete because she is no better today!!!!

I literally can't leave her side and I have to go back to work tomorrow. Luckily, my mom can "babysit". If she is running around outside, she is fine but when she is inside, she is spending most of her time lying on the couch beside me because if she runs around in the house and gets that "urge" (which is always), she can't always make it to her pad and then she feels guilty. It's so sad.......she just looks up at me and puts her ears back like she is saying "I'm sorry".

I just want her better...........this is so hard on both of us!!!!
