Tuff Ball sleeps in his crate in our utility room off the kitchen it stays cool in the summer and warm in the winter. He has a fuzzy blanket that he loves. we have kept him in the crate since he was about 11 weeks old. Sometimes if we are up late watching TV he will just go to his bed. He feels safe and secure and he doesn't wake up with every little sound. I think he likes it. He wakes about 8:30-9:00 and is ready to come out a greet the day. love my little Bear

Default charlie loves his bed

Charlie loves his bed (crate). We crate trained him as a puppy with the intention of allowing him free roam eventually but he loves it in there. It is oversized, so he had room to wiggle and he goes in on his own after his night time trip outside. If i say 'are you ready for bed' he scurries in and stands until I close the door then spins his circles and curls up for the night. On the occasion that I invite him into our bed for the night, he is restless and wakes growling or barking at the slightest noise and constantly is jumping on and off the bed pacing.

Teddie sleeps in his crate. I didn't want him to have accidents around the house. Plus I can't stand sharing my bed with anyone but my hubby. Also I don't want Teddie to wake up my kids. He loves to lick their faces in the morning to wake them up. So I afraid he will go in their rooms and wake them up in the middle of the night.

Scooter is a roamer. He starts out on the bed but roams around and finally winds up in his basket. He's a kicker when he sleeps with me and he also snores.

Bowsie was crate trained as soon as I brought him home, for many reasons. I am so glad I did this because I am flying with him in 10 days and I can't imagine trying to fly with a dog who didn't like his crate!

He sleeps out on occasion, usually only during naps though. For some reason at night he won't sleep in the bed (I think he gets too hot). We have all tile floors and his little nails tick on the floor when he shuffles about and it drives us mad. So usually he sleeps in his crate right next to the bed, and he loves it there. When he gets tired, he will go in there on his own.

Rome is crate trained quit well but since its just "US" since he was 8 weeks now 8mo we still sleep together king size and we both take up the whole bed the comfort of knowing Rome is next to me gives me such relief! I wouldn't have it any other way. It might differ if we got him a sister who knows only time will tell.

Too funny! Belle sleeps on either my pillow or my husband's. We turn off the lights and she goes right to the pillows.

Luma has her own crate with a bed inside that I got from petsmart.. The crate is at the foot of our bed.. We leave it open at night and lots of nights she starts in the crate and I wake upp to her butt sticking up in the air wedged between my bf and I. She lovesssss to burrow under our blanket and sleep between us or on my legs (i sleep on my tummy).

Strudel sleeps in his own bed - he doesn't need to know what adults do in the "adult" bed lol!!! But then in the morning he sleeps with me

I was scared to mention this reasoning as another case in point for dogs in my bed.

One time Derik would kill me for sgaring this, anyways Scoobers jumped on the bed and humped his leg at an awkward moment...then snarled at him...moment over kennel utalized.

I am a fitful sleeper and this made me nervous because he was only around 4 lbs and I did not want to roll over on him. When we got Lola I told the DH she is sleeping in a crate in our room. It worked well for several months, Lola was very happy there until my husband kept bringing her on the bed, so now she sleeps with us, but she likes her own space and seems to prefer when I put one of her flat type of beds at the bottom of our bed. So now she sleeps on her bed which is on our bed

I also have a set of pair stairs and was excided when she learned to use them, however that soon changed. The top of my bed had been a safe haven for my stuff since it was out of reach of Lola's prying little paws I would set my purse on the bed, lay clothes out, unpack shopping bags, fold laundry, and so forth, well that came to an end since Lola was now pulling everything out and grabbing anything she could. After the bed was made she would get back up there with slimy chew toys and bones, hiding them under my decorative pillows then scratching like crazy to dig them up. Making the bed was a challenge and hoot because she thought it was a game, especially when it came time to change the sheets. While the stairs where there she would not settle down at lights out. She started getting off the bed, looking for a toy to bring back up to squeak, so we had to make sure all toys were off the floor of the bedroom and the door closed, I would put her back in bed, but back down she would go pacing the room frantically panting looking for a toy. I finally had to remove the stairs because I felt it was getting dangerous, Lola is always in hurry so she would climb up the stairs but started jumping off the bed to get down, and since she like dropping her toy off the side of the bed she started jumping down a lot. Not only did I have to move the stairs, but also a hope chest that was at the foot of the bed because that was her landing pad when climbing up the stairs. She had discovered that she could bypass the steps and jump up and down from the chest. Now the chest and stairs are across the room in front of window and she has a bed on top of that so she goes there during the day to look outside. It's funny how those stairs completely changed our bed time routine, so think twice before giving your pup easy access to your bed with pet steps
Your post was soooo funny!! Especially the bed-on-bed part!
Ian sleeps with us, and thank goodness we have a king bed. Otherwise we would have gotten very little sleep!

LOL That is hilarious! I can just picture Strudel doing the same, he barks at my BF every single time we kiss LOL. Sometimes these boys think they are our boyfriends. I am always telling Strudie..."Strudie I am your MOMMY don't be all incestual!" HAHA!

Thats why he has his very own big boy bed, he loves it so I don't plan on changing. Plus he is so tiny and I sleep cray so I don't want to suffocate him or hurt him.
