| ![]() Joel likes sleeping in his crate and most of the time sleeps there but sometimes he'll randomly sleep with me when I want him to like if he's not feel well or like last night when I thought he swallowed something ![]() Last edited by ilovejoel; 07-23-2012 at 11:02 AM. |

| ![]() Both Bella & Sophie sleep with us and it is all my DHs fault. They were perfectly happy in their crates but he kept with the "let them lay here just for a little while" to "aw leave them here they are so comfortable" ![]()

| ![]() Charlie sleeps in bed with me. Usually by my feet but really where ever he chooses. Why? Because I don't mind and either does he. ![]() |

| ![]() Ahi sleeps in our bed, her bed, her sissys bed, by my hubby's head on his pillow. She pretty much sleeps all over. She is just like me, wakes up to move around in the night. She actually got little booted last night when she tried to sleep on my youngest dd's feet. She consistently goes back and forth from my bed to hers. Her very first night home she slept on my chest. She was on her bed which is level to mine and crawled on me in the middle of the night. And she is also crate trained. I rarely put her in there but when I do she never complains. ![]()

| ![]() Bailey sleeps in the kitchen in his bed. We tried letting him sleep with us, but he moves around too much and we got pretty bad sleep. Now everyone sleeps. |

♥Love My 3 Furrbutts♥ Donating Member | ![]() Both of mine sleep in a large crate in the living room right beside the fireplace. I'm up at 3am, and dont want to deal with two hyper pups that want to play when I'm trying to get ready for work. I let them out to go pee, then right back in the crate they go. when our new little one comes in September, she will be in a crate in our room, when she gets older she will join her 'siblings' in the living room.

| ![]() In the past I let my dogs sleep in bed with me. I prefer it that way for selfish reasons though. I just like feeling them near me at night, and waking up to their play and kisses in the morning. The Yorkie that still lives with my parents sleeps on their bed at the foot, along with a toy poodle and a cat by the pillows. Their bed is very crowded at night. I decided that my little puppy is going to sleep in her crate at night in my bedroom. I miss the luxury of sleeping with my baby, but I think I made a better choice for these reasons: 1. When a Yorkie jumps off a bed, they risk injuring their legs. Even with a ramp or staircase available, half the time they choose to jump off the bed anyway. My parents' Yorkie has hurt her legs many times doing so, even though she has a little staircase. 2. The "alpha" always sleeps in the highest, best place. Keeping her in a crate on the floor at night reinforces me as alpha. 3. If she were to sleep in bed with me, she'd have to sleep at the foot of the bed. I am used to sleeping with dogs so I know I wouldn't kick her off in my sleep, but my fiance has never slept with dogs (big or small). I worry that he might knock her off in the night. 4. With two people in a queen size bed, and her restricted to the foot, she wouldn't have any room! I know she'd be bumped constantly in the night and forced to get up and move a few times. She wouldn't ever good a good night's sleep. 5. Mishka can only see out of one eye. I worry that her depth perception isn't as good, making her more likely to jump off the bed not realizing how far down it is. I miss sleeping with furbabies, but putting Mishka in a crate on the bedroom floor is the best solution for me. It primarily gives me peace of mind that she's safe for the night. My fiance also likes it because he doesn't have to compete with the cute and cuddly puppy for my attention! |

| ![]() Tibbe insists on sleeping where I sleep, mostly on my very pillow beside my head to start out the night but he changes to different places on the bed through the night. Still, many mornings he's right beside me on the pillow when I wake.
