Jax sleeps with me every night I wouldn't have it any other way.

In fact, I'm sad when he chooses to first fall asleep under the bed on the floor and miss him, LOL...

I wasn't going to let Kipper sleep in our bed, since my husband is a sound sleeper and might roll on him. Another reason was because when our dear mini schnauzer got lymphoma, he could no longer sleep with us due to the deterioration of his bowels and the pus draining from his swollen lymph nodes, etc. He felt like an outcast and I didn't want another dog to ever feel that way. If they always sleep in their own bed, then no matter what their condition, they will feel safe and loved. Kipper had other ideas and has slept in our bed for the last two nights. I think he gets cold. He also sleeps longer than if he is in his crate, so that is nice for me. I just make sure I am always touching him and know where he is. I am a light sleeper, anyway.

Dolly sleeps with me has since the day I brought her home at 12 weeks, she is 19 months now I wouldn't have it any other way, I love those little kisses I get every morning to wake me up.

My baby sleeps with me and has done since the day I brought him home.
The reason: I really was all set on crate training (since I'm home all day) and I put him in there, and he cried, and cried and cried, and Toby was barking, and well.... 10 minutes later I realised I just couldn't bare it! So he sleeps with me. I wouldn't have it any other way. And I have never spent a night away from him

I feel the same way when Rosie goes to the cloud9 bed.

Only Gracie sleeps with me. The other Yorkies sleep in their crates. Lily our big Lab girl prowls the house and most often winds up sleeping on the floor beside the bed.

I have a border collie cross german shepherd , a jack russell ,and a yorkie oh yes and a hubby we all sleep in the same bed

When I got Cali I put step up beside the bed thinking one day she would be able to use them to get up on the bed if she ever wanted to. She slept in a playpen next to the bed.

The 3rd night I had her I was in the bathroom brushing my teeth and when I came out she was up on my pillow on the bed looking at me like "I'm sleeping here, where are you sleeping?". That was it

Atticus has slept with us since day one. He loves it and so do we. He knows that when I am turning back the covers at night it is bed time

Trinket sleeps in her crate/puppy apartment. It is next to my bed so if she wimpers at night, which has done only about twice, I just touch her and she knows I am there. Don`t have to take her out at night cause her apartment has a special room for pee pad. She poops and pees every night. I don`t even hear her up. The reason, I have a cat that sleeps with me and I can`t take the bed away from her. She has been here for 10 years now. Also want her to be used to sleeping in her bed. She goes in her crate when we have to leave with out her. When we can`t watch her during the day, she has an x-pen with all her toys and another bed.

I wish gigi could sleep in the bed but when i first got her, at 4 months old i had her on our spare bed for a minute and she peed!!! so there goes that idea lol. she sleeps in there in her crate now.

No. my dog have a bed in like everyroom and akennel well two large kennels we put together to make for all 3 dogs together now.


My dogs dont sleep with is because
1 despiye Deriks sadness the Cal king wont fit the room so we have a queen bed that is 3 feet tall on the frame.
2 we roll kick etc they dont sleep on our bed for thwir safety
3 I a lil germaphobic my dogs go outside roll etc I dont want that stuff on my bed or pillow.

LOL the same thing happened here, our last dog Kirby slept in between us with his head on the pillow spooning my husband, sometimes he would burrow down under the covers. I am a fitful sleeper and this made me nervous because he was only around 4 lbs and I did not want to roll over on him. When we got Lola I told the DH she is sleeping in a crate in our room. It worked well for several months, Lola was very happy there until my husband kept bringing her on the bed, so now she sleeps with us, but she likes her own space and seems to prefer when I put one of her flat type of beds at the bottom of our bed. So now she sleeps on her bed which is on our bed

I also have a set of pair stairs and was excided when she learned to use them, however that soon changed. The top of my bed had been a safe haven for my stuff since it was out of reach of Lola's prying little paws I would set my purse on the bed, lay clothes out, unpack shopping bags, fold laundry, and so forth, well that came to an end since Lola was now pulling everything out and grabbing anything she could. After the bed was made she would get back up there with slimy chew toys and bones, hiding them under my decorative pillows then scratching like crazy to dig them up. Making the bed was a challenge and hoot because she thought it was a game, especially when it came time to change the sheets. While the stairs where there she would not settle down at lights out. She started getting off the bed, looking for a toy to bring back up to squeak, so we had to make sure all toys were off the floor of the bedroom and the door closed, I would put her back in bed, but back down she would go pacing the room frantically panting looking for a toy. I finally had to remove the stairs because I felt it was getting dangerous, Lola is always in hurry so she would climb up the stairs but started jumping off the bed to get down, and since she like dropping her toy off the side of the bed she started jumping down a lot. Not only did I have to move the stairs, but also a hope chest that was at the foot of the bed because that was her landing pad when climbing up the stairs. She had discovered that she could bypass the steps and jump up and down from the chest. Now the chest and stairs are across the room in front of window and she has a bed on top of that so she goes there during the day to look outside. It's funny how those stairs completely changed our bed time routine, so think twice before giving your pup easy access to your bed with pet steps
