| Had to check for up dates this morning. Sorry about the ribs, that is so painful. But I am so glad you did not destroy that elbow and knee. In my prayers this morning. Hugs, Teresa

| Wow, you really did a number on yourself, there Glad the elbow and knee will be okay, but ribs are so painful, i'm sorry! Since you get sick on regular pain meds, maybe you can try Tramadol. I take it for my back. It's non-narcotic and okay with my tummy and it really does help. Anyway, wishing you speedy healing!

| Thanks again everyone for all the well wishes...I am typing with one finger..and about to go out of my mind with this splint on my arm and the binder on for the ribs!!! Thanks for all the PM's too ....I will certainly try the alternatives suggested for pain meds...since I can not tolerate pain meds, I have a really high tolerance to pain, but sometimes, if you can take just a little something to take the edge off.... |

| Yes, probably, they use it for doggies too I like it because it's non-narcotic and I can function on it, no drowsiness. I was on Vicodin for about 6 months and I was a zombie Finally I begged my doc for an alternative so I could feel alive again And amazingly it really does help, I sure as heck know when I've forgotten to take it!

| So sorry to hear of your injuries. You are right about ribs being hooked to everything. Many years ago my husband had a broken rib, and one day he sneezed and fell to his knees in pain. Getting a cold would be aweful, coughing or sneezing would really hurt. So does laughing. Too bad they can't really do much for broken ribs except to bind and wait to heal.

| Ugh! I just groaned reading about you describe getting ready this morning! Sounds painful as heck - and then working all day. You are going to be so glad to get home and down tonight. I know you will be a ball of pain and so sorry it's going to be so bad for you for a while. Can you use the Lidoderm patches? I use one on my hip for 12 hrs. at a time for the bursitis and it sure is helpful for more surface type pain. I'm highly intolerant of pain meds and this one just locally infiltrates a little Lidocaine into painful areas and helps! Ins. prob. won't cover but they aren't that expensive and of course take a Rx.

| Oh how awful. Don't you just hate when stuff like this happens? My goodness, I hope you pain is manageable and that you are able to rest comfortably. Do take care.
