Ugh! I just groaned reading about you describe getting ready this morning! Sounds painful as heck - and then working all day. You are going to be so glad to get home and down tonight. I know you will be a ball of pain and so sorry it's going to be so bad for you for a while. Can you use the Lidoderm patches? I use one on my hip for 12 hrs. at a time for the bursitis and it sure is helpful for more surface type pain. I'm highly intolerant of pain meds and this one just locally infiltrates a little Lidocaine into painful areas and helps! Ins. prob. won't cover but they aren't that expensive and of course take a Rx.
