She doesn't really fuss at my husband. Just that night she didn't know it was him. She also goes crazy if he wears a hat. But she sees him as a substitute lap if I am out. | |

| Its been a couple weeks sense my last update. Ting is still here with us. I haven't gotten any emails or calls (except for people offering to take her if I can't find her owner). I still have my signs and my adds online up. The past 2 mornings (at about 6:30am) she has sat infront of me while I'm trying to watch for the weather and makes these funny little noises at me. When I reach down to pick her up she jumps back and wags her tail. We then proceed to play chase for about 20 min. She also enjoys to hide her toys from me and so the same thing. She has also made friends with our dog (Puppa). Puppa is a medium size dog but she plays with our younger cat so she seems to know not to be to rough with small animals. I have pictures of them playing together I will try to post soon. Ting will stand under Puppa. We have an older dog (Chaka) that is blind and Ting has found her to boring so she leaves Chaka alone. We also have two cats (Miss Clyde (about 15 years old) and Laverne (just under a year)). Clyde let Ting know she doesn't play when I first brought Ting home but Laverne would run away causing Ting to chase her. Laverne finally stopped running and gave Ting a couple of swipes and Ting now leaves her alone. The problem now is Laverne wants to play with Ting but Ting is afraid of her. I'm hoping in a few more weeks they will get along. |

| Yorkies and cats can have some interesting relationships. When Gracie was younger she found it great fun to chase the cats and to keep the litter of kittens I was raising under control. It all usually works out and everyone stakes out their own territory. Sounds like things are going well. |

| Another update: The day after my last post Ting and Laverne (our younger cat) started playing. They will chase each other around the dining room chairs but Ting is still a lttle nervous and wont get close enough for Laverne to swipe her. From the day I brought Laverne home she chose me as her human and only put up with the other humans in the house. She has been mad at me for bringing home Ting but we had a break through after they started playing and now she will sit on my lap even if Ting is cuddled up next to me. I took Ting to the vet and she has gained a pound. And she is a health little dog. She has been my little shadow from the day I found her, but recently she has stopped jumping up everytime I move and will wait for me to come back (as long as I don't take to long). I'm no longer getting emails from anyone trying to claim her or offering a home. I check the papers and craigs list still for lost pet adds and mine are still up, but I will admit I'm not looking as hard as I was when I first got her. |

| Long over due update: Ting is still here. She is currently curled up next to me while I type. Our church has a lot going on this month so we have been out more so I'm glad Ting, Puppa and Laverne have become such good friends. In the morning Laverne will wait for us (Ting and me) to get up then Ting will give her some kisses and they chase each other outside to go potty and play for a few minutes before I have to start getting everyone up and ready to where ever we need to be that day. The other night I didn't go right home after church. About 20 minutes after my husband left, I got a call from him letting me know that Ting ran around the car looking for me when they got home and then proceeded to come inside to sit by the door and wait for me. After that night I have tried to give her extra attention because the next 2 weeks we have Revival and VBS so it will be late when we get home. I have to say it is nice to have see her and how excited she is to see me when I do get home. Last edited by btytler83; 06-07-2012 at 05:22 AM. Reason: edit |

Zachary's Mom Donating Member | Sorry, I say take down the signs once you have tried everything that has been suggested and keep her. If someone lost her, they don't appear to be trying very hard to find her IMHO. Louise |
