Another update: The day after my last post Ting and Laverne (our younger cat) started playing. They will chase each other around the dining room chairs but Ting is still a lttle nervous and wont get close enough for Laverne to swipe her. From the day I brought Laverne home she chose me as her human and only put up with the other humans in the house. She has been mad at me for bringing home Ting but we had a break through after they started playing and now she will sit on my lap even if Ting is cuddled up next to me.
I took Ting to the vet and she has gained a pound. And she is a health little dog.
She has been my little shadow from the day I found her, but recently she has stopped jumping up everytime I move and will wait for me to come back (as long as I don't take to long).
I'm no longer getting emails from anyone trying to claim her or offering a home. I check the papers and craigs list still for lost pet adds and mine are still up, but I will admit I'm not looking as hard as I was when I first got her. |
