| Just spoke with the breeder about coming to see them on Sunday and she is leaving town tomorrow and wont be home until Wednesday. She said she would lower the price of one puppy if I wanted to get both and then at the end of the email mentioned that someone is coming tonight to pick a boy what if they buy the one we like so much?!? I REALLY wish I already had my mind made up because now I might lose the little guy. (right now we have a deposit on the girl so she cannot be picked but I really wanted to see them one more time before deciding for sure). Guess it will make my decision easier though...... |

| When I went to pick up my puppy I sat down on the ground and the one that I ended up bringing home was the one that came and sat in my lap every time. The other one went off on his own. My little boy also followed my little girls around. I thought the other one had a cuter face but I didn't go for looks i went for the personality. From what I have read I would go with the boy but that is my own opinion. Good Luck!!!

| Your gut instinct was to put a deposit on the girl so if someone takes the boy be happy you have a little girl yorkie and be happy and dont look back. If someone doesnt take the boy you have a 2nd chance to evaluate your choice but dont be regretful either way you are getting a sweet yorkie pup

Max Main's Mamma Donating YT Member | They are both adorable and you can never really tell what they will look like. Just go with your heart. From your original post, it sounded like you had a good connection with the boy. Girls are more fun to dress up though. Good luck! I can't wait to hear what you decided.

| I'm just glad that I at least have a deposit on one of them, so that is good! Luckily the people that went to see them tonight did not pick the boy that we like so hopefully nobody else somehow makes a deposit until I go see them again next weekend (she won't be back in town from vacation til Wednesday night so I'm hoping to go Thursday . Now my only problem is that a few people almost have me talked into getting both, so now I've added that as a possibility making the choice even harder! I'm going to look into the vet costs of 2 and potty training 2.....anyone ever done this? I would think there would be accidents all over the place! |

| Yes, I have & I personally did not find potty training 2 any harder then 1. Vet costs are double obviously but so is the Love & Fun. |

| If you can get both, why not? Food, vet costs, etc. will obviously be double, but my vet gives me a "group rate" when I take more than one at a time...the office visit charge may be a single charge even if double charges for actual shots, meds, etc. One of the greatest things, though, about having two is that loneliness issues will be considerably less or non-existant since they will have each other as well as you to cuddle up with, play with, etc. Potty training, too...if one "gets it" quicker than the other, the one who 'gets it' first will help train the other. Finally, if you are in such a quandry over which to choose...and obviously want the boy but not give up the girl...getting both will allow you to never suffer from the "I wish I" or "I should have" or "why didn't I" syndrome! Oh, and you will probably never have to wash your face again...unless you just want to!

| I agree. Potty training two is just as easy as one. I think your mother has offered to help with the puppy/vet bills. The boy will end up being Lulu's and the girl will be yours. |

| I agree. Two are as easy to potty train as one. Maybe you have a mother or Grandmother who can help with finances |

| I ONLY get girls, so I say the girl! I haven't had nearly as good of luck with boy dogs in the past as I have girl dogs. I LOVE my girls! We also like having multiple dogs (currently have 4). They play together, keep each other company, sleep together, and they don't feel alone when we are gone. So, MAYBE both? However, like I said, I ONLY get girls now so that would sway my decision.

| I love the little girl but that is all I've ever had. My first one was totally devoted to me and just a love. I ended up getting another in about 6 months to keep her company while I was gone to work. They do so much better with a fur friend. So I say get them both if you can. Right now I have 2 yorkies a shorkie and a 2 yrs old blind maltese. |

| You are going to be nuts over either dog. They are both very, very cute. |
