| Katie Scarlett's Mommy Donating Member | I would speak to a vet as well. We use Frontline Plus with Katie Scarlett and so far have not had any problems. But this will be our first spring/summer with her. We live in the country as well. I hope it will work good. If not, you can bet I'll be speaking with our vet to change. I had heard so many good things about it before we got our KS, but now I have heard lots of complaints about it recently.

Permethrin causes organophosphate poisoning in kitties. It shouldn't be used anywhere near them. If I see fleas, on goes the Frontline (it works around here fairly well). If I was going to give something monthly (just for fleas and not for ticks) it would be Sentinel for us. I like it quite a bit.
