| Brit I love all of Jackson's tricks very clever! Buster can give me five (right paw), south paw (left paw), Hi five, Kiss, sit, stay, come (sometimes LOL), down, roll over, army crawl, dance, spin, bark ( short burst) and super back ( he growls his way up to a big bark) I love the idea of the PetSmart trick class as I would love to teach him to lift a paw like a gunslinger lifting a gun and then react if I say bang and then play dead. It is so much fun teaching him tricks.

| With down whenever I noticed him starting to lay down I would say the word down and then reward him. I found it easier to teach him a trick once he associated the word and then we worked on attaching the word to an action and rewarding him.

| Katie Scarlett's Mommy Donating Member | Awww! Jackson is adorable! AND all of your babies sound so talented! Wow! I am impressed! Well, Katie Scarlett and I graduated her Puppy Kindergarten class right before Christmas. We are in the next class called 'Moving On Up' now and learning more. I hope to keep her in classes as long as I can. I also want to teach her things on my own. Right now she can: 1. Sit 2. Sit/Stay 3. Down 4. Look 5. Touch (touch treat to her nose) 6. Up (Stand up on her back 2 feet) 7. Roll Over ( a work in progress...sometimes she does and sometimes she doesn't...LOL) 8. Bow (we are working on this one too...it is where she goes down on her front 2 paws but her back end stays up) I want to teach her to shake next I think. I want to learn dance and to 'pray.' I saw that on a video online. They get in a sit and stay. They have to keep their head down looking at the treat right in front of them and you say 'pray.' Right before they get the treat, you say 'amen.' I think the family would love that. I hope we can do as good as you guys!

| To date, Bubba can; sit stay lay down drop it right here (our command for come) he knows "that's a no" he responds when I snap my fingers to correct unwanted behaviors such as; licking scratching chewing pacing I think teaching dogs our language is as important as commands and tricks. Charlie knows maybe 5 good tricks, but his word bank has surpassed 250. I have a sister that "bang you're dead" was their goal and the end of her dog's training. So her animal can beg, gimme 5, sit, lay down, bang you're dead. And they're fine with that. |

| Lexi too can do many tricks...but our favorite thing she can do is count to 3 We ask her to count to three and she will bark 3 times and now that she turned 3 years old we now ask her how old she is and will bark 3 times for that too...it is so darn cute. We will work on 4 in November...LOL

Well I take that back he is down pouting now because he isn't use to wearing sweaters and DOES NOT LIKE it. He was the same way with collar, but got use to it in a day or two. I've taken it off now though he keeps getting his mouth stuck in it...scary. I know to use a harness and no collar in crate, but this mouth getting stuck business is bad too. Just nowhere to put ID tag now. Sorry off topic. Thanks everyone else who replied too. I appreciate it. | |

| Lilos 5 1/2 months and knows Sit Stay Leave it Take it Play dead Rollover Jump through hope Weave through cones To go up and down ramp Go to ( in the bag, bed, crate, daddy. Etc) Crawl Sit pretty Shake (left, right) High five High ten Turn around ( both ways) Fetch Close the door Pray Bow Come Jump in place To count to five with her paw Wave Lie down Walk loose leash Hug ( she puts her arms around my neck and puts her head down) We're working on teaching her to jump rope and walking backwards but it's soo hard. I think these two will take us the longest but working with her is so much fun. yorkies are incredibly smart especially when food motivated. |

| Scribble is 3 months, so we are still working on his commands, but he does a hand shake, sit and sit very still when he sees his " blue going outside jacket".
