That's GREAT! It's so heartbreaking when I read about someone finding a lost Yorkie who they have decided to be mistreated and are planning on "saving" him. The pictures tell the story pretty well don't they? Tagging is in order and a Sticky out be great too~multiple sticky! I think the very first place the sticky should be put in right in this forum under the Lost and Found Sticky. It seems to be used more often when a lost do thread is started. I'm a little biased about the link I like to share for the lost and found dog thread. Do you think you could possibly add the pictures directly to those thread? Ok~all just suggestion to think and discuss. But I do believe this should be something easily found and I'd love to see this thread be kept open so it can be bumped when needed and not just link.

That is an eyeopener for sure. I am so glad that Annabelle was reunited with her family. I can only imagine what condition Jada and Bogie would be in if they were to be outside for an hour or so. Probably worse than poor Annabelle

That's the thing about how she looks. She probably was just out at first having a little fun. Romping and playing, got into a little dirt chasing a bunny and poof you have the after picture. I remember when my three escaped for the yard last year. They were going for less than 45 minutes and looked like puppymill dogs on their release If it wasn't for being able to find them quickly and having collars and tags who knows what they would have looked like to a strange after a few hours. There are several things that I feel very strongly about and assuming that a disheveled looking dog is neglected is one of them. The other is making sure that you always have a collar and tags on your pets at all times. It is so important and I will preach about this in an unending fashion

Yes, this is one of the thread that I thought about when I saw this picture yesterday. The other was the woman that caught a yorkie in a trap on her property and refused to look for the owners and rehomed the dog within a two days. Very sad

very very sad People who do not return lost dogs make me sick. I cannot imagine loosing Teddy and never seeing him again. Thank goodness sweet Annabelle was returned! It is comforting to know that there are still good people in the world that do the right thing. Thanks again for posting this!

Buster needs to be brushed everyday. If I miss a day of brushing him or cleaning his eyes, he could pass for a neglected dog if he got lost. I can't imagine him getting away and someone else assuming he's neglected and unwanted and not trying to find me.

One time my Tiki and Meika chased my daughter's cat under her house and when I finally got them out a half hour later, they were full of weeds, wet and muddy, and I could hardly recognize them myself.

Exactly. After my girls play in the mud and ponds they look horrible!
