He paid over 350 pounds which I'm guessing is over 500 dollars, I have a few neighbours with them an they paid in around the same some less, it isn't even the money I care about, it's the fact she's swearing blind it's a full bred I'm goin to vet 2mora so will ask about DNA def want to find out what she is thanks for all ur comments will keep u posted xxx

Well, you could try telling her you had a DNA test done on the pup and that you can prove she is not purebred. It may by scare her enough to give you some of the money back. Threaten to report her to the authorities or take her to court. I don't know if you have a small claims court there but there must be someone that can get you some kind of justice from this horrid person. If she continues to get away with this type of fraud and theft she will continue to raise more mixed breed puppies and sell them to others.

Great another Irish lass. Is there small claims court there? I'd eat my table if that is a full bred Yorkie.

Don't you have a registry in Ireland for purebreeds?

Recourse for her the purchaser? Better Business Bureau reporting? Scamsters dot.com or something for Ireland?

Looks like a cross between a yorkie and either a jack russel or miniature pinscher. She is absolutely adorable though. What did the vet say?

Yes, I'm not sure if it works the same, but we defiantly have a similar system to your small claims. We don't even just have one registry- we have the uk kennel club And Irish kennel club! But if the ad only said registered and not kc reg then it's more likely to be dlc (dog lovers club- similar to your continental vs American kc).
It would depend on how many dogs she has and how she has them licsenced, but it would certainly be worth talking to the dog warden of her area to see if she can be held accountable for something!

First of all there is no such thing as a tea cup Yorkie or a mini Yorkie, so the person you got her from does not know what she is talking about. Second, my 10 week old champion purebred Yorkie is black and tan but you can see some blue coming in, so she might be. She sound super cute!!

Looks to me to be a Yorkie/Jack Russel or possibly Yorkie/ Dachshund. Definitely not a pure breed. The first thing I noticed is that the snout is too long. Looks like a sweet puppy. I would keep her but still try to get at least some of my money back.Good luck.

Please prosecute this woman. It's not for the money, but for the fact that she is committing fraud. That is a crime, and she shouldn't get away with it. You won't be seen as loving your new puppy any less if you prosecute this woman. She will do it over and over again to profit off of her poor parent dogs, and the puppies she is selling. She may sell to a person who could drop off their mix breed puppy off on the streets because they're so angry about not having a full bred Yorkie, or they may treat the dog poorly by neglecting or abusing it.

Hopefully this works out in your favor and that woman doesn't breed more dogs. She clearly doesn't care about her dogs. Good luck.

Erm,head animal control officer? They inspect and liscence breeders and multiple dog owners (very throughly on most cases), check out compaints regarding dogs, pick up strays, and run the pounds
They are basically either a godsend or devil (you have heard of save lennox? That was a dog wardens fault.) but most of the time they are very passionate about what they do- mine for example will be out within the hour if you report something bad to him, and inspects breeders and multiple (unaltered) dog households on a regular basis and you can breed within reason on the latter liscence, but if a papertrail says Someone had overbred, the fine would be shocking! If she is a liscenced breeder then his say will have a hefty weight when she is reported for false advertising and fraud (since the pup has papers) an if she isn't liscenced, maybe she should be? There would be a fine for that ya know! At the minute the law isn't Great at protecting puppy buyers and the pups, but hopefully the new proposed legislation will help! (it has holes in it, but overall looks pretty promising!)

That is one cute puppy, but I'd even be tempted to take my girls and head to the greeders house to call BS to her face!
